Luna's POV
I awoke to a burning pain in the same place I cut last night. My hand felt wet and at that point I guess why I was in pain. I had scratch and reopen my cut. Great. I thought as I forced my eyes open. I look around and noticed I was sleeping on the floor. I must have fallen asleep down here last night. As I laid there on the floor I realized something. Its the first day of school and Im going to be late. I look at my clock on the wall and it reads 7:15. Shit! I got up quickly and ran to my dresser. My towel had fallen off in my rush and now my body lit up with goosebumps. I look to my window and remembered that I forgot to close it. The cold winter air blow threw out my room freezing everything in its path. When a breeze ran across my skin, I bathed in it like as if it were silk. I walked over to the window, naked as the day I was born, and stretched out my arms like wings. The wind blew fiercely onto my body the goosebumps began to sting from my hairs standing up on end. I've always hated the cold, but this morning I woke up a whole new person. I could tell.
I opened my eyes and looked out the window and was immediately brought out of my trance. I saw some guy watching me. I screamed at the top of my lungs and ran from the window. That didn't happen. No. It didn't happen. How stupid could I be to stand naked at a window! I'm such an idiot! I rushed to get some clothes on so I could go down there, find that boy, and kill him. Pervert! I threw on my lucky bra and panties then my navy blue v-neck that showed lots of clevage and my black skinny jeans. I ran to my window to see if he was still there. He wasnt! I felt the blood rush through my body and up to my face. My heart beating hard and fast. My temperature rising and the invisible smoke flying out my ears. I could no longer feel the cold air piercing my skin. Anger had now taken over my body. I run to my dresser and slip on my sock. I fell as I tried to slip them on one by one standing on one leg after the other. I pick my self up and sprint to my closet and slip on my ugg boots. He's gonna get it!
I race down the stairs, through the hall, and straight out the door. It took me to reach the side walk to figure out that the guy had been long gone. I calmed down and the blodd in my body began to slow and continue on circulating regularly. I was no longer hot so once the cold air high my face I ran back inside my house. I looked around for my mom to see if she was still home. She wasn't. I should have known that she had already left for work. I didn't hear any foot steps in the hall after I screamed so ofcourse she was gone. I look at the clock on the wall in the living room. 8:00. I'm late for school. On the first damn day. sheesh! I run to my room and throw on my gray panda hoodie and grab my book bag. I run to the bathroom and brush my teeth and finger comb my hair. I walk out the door and walk to the bus stop. I take a seat on the bench and await the buses arrival.

Charlie's POV
I awake to the wonderful smell of mint tea. Harvey must be up fixing one of his many special teas. But out of all of them I love his mint tea. It gives me a warm feeling inside. I open my eyes and look around the room. I notice some clothes on the couch next to the one I'm sleeping on. I assume they're Harvey's work closes. But then I realize that Harvey doesn't work. He's paid by the Council, because he is the Level A Protectorate of this region. I throw off my covers and tip toe to see who's clothes they are. On my last step the wooden floors of the cabin creak loud enough for Harvey to hear from the Kitchen.
"Charlie?" Harvey asked. "Yeah?" I said timidly. I was little nervous about what he was going to say next. I feared he would call me in and ask about the insident from last night. I didnt want to talk about it. I didn't feel like reliving that night again. It also felt weird to feel fear. Usually I dont feel anything. My heart's always cover by a thick layer of skin. I'm used to being alone...seeing people die...killing. But something about last night bothered me. "Charlie come here!" Harvey said pulling me out of my thoughts. I walked through the door in the dinning room to the door of the kitchen. "Yes?" I said standing in the doorway. "You saw those clothes on the couch? Well, you're going to school today. So go hop in the shower and put them on." Harvey said sternly as he dumped the soggy tea leaves into the trash can by the back door. "School? What the hell Harv? I don't go to school!" I felt like smacking him in the head with the tea kettle but I knew he'd catch me the minute I reached for the handle.
