Quick question - do you like the style this book is written in? The last one was temporarily fluffiest book I have ever written. I've ordered a load of fluff for this chapter, but I feel like the pace is bad. Please comment your opinions, and thank you! \(*^*)\

It was dark by the time Marinette and Luka arrived on the ship. They hadn't spoken much... The only connection between them is the joint hands. However, both seemed to be enjoying the time together. After all, they didn't get to see each other often as they went to different schools. As they arrived at the dock, they noticed Anarka waiting.

"What took ya so long? All aboard!"

Marinette smiled - Luka's mother was always so lively. She'd known Anarka longer than she knew Luka.

"Bonjour Anarka, sorry we're late >~< It's nice to see you again!"

"Aye... You too Marinette. I'm going to pull in the dock for the night. Let me know if you two need anything. Other than that, I won't disturb yeh."

Suddenly remembering, Marinette rummaged through the paper bag carefully, bringing out a cupcake with a small plastic boat in the middle of a puddle of blue icing.

"This is for you!"

Marinette briefly let go of Luka's hand to extend both, bearing the cupcake. Anarka grinned.

"Arr, thank you, it looks perfect! Luka, you definitely found a keeper."

Marinette and Luka shared a look, blushing before turning to wave at Anarka. (UwU)

Once inside Luka's room, Marinette instantly went over to look at the guitar picks. She was fascinated by them, which pleased Luka, as he only usually got his family interested by them. He always liked to look at the empty slot, as he knew Marinette always had it with her. As blissful as the pair were, they knew they had to speak about what happened earlier. Luka started the conversation.

"So... That was the most intense half hour I've ever had. Well, apart from the whole XY incident. I guess something good came out of that though."

Marinette blushed. Luka liked seeing the girl flustered... He always found it cute.

"Y-yeah... Sorry about that Luka... Not exactly what I was planning on doing today."

Luka smiled, once again holding Marinette's hand.

"Still... You're still the same funny, kind and honest girl even if you are ladybug. Plus, keeping that secret for so long? I'd be surprised if it was anyone else, but I know you're more than capable than most of the people I know."

"Thanks Luka."

They looked at each other, smiling. They leaned in for a kiss before-

Snap!

"Wah!"

Marinette fell off the bed, as Juleka sniggered. She quickly ran, as Marinette leaped up in chase. Luka just laughed as he watched her hurtle across the room.
