A week later Ellie was putting her soccer pads in her bag when some of her friends that she plays her sports with came over to her.
"Hey Elle.." Dallas said
"Hey Dallas.." Ellie said
"Um listen I'm really sorry but me and Danielle won't be able to come to your party." Dallas said
"Why? I heard my brother say that Deacon is coming?" she said
"Yeah I know but we were told we couldn't come." Danielle said
"It's fine I get it..boys get special treatment right." she said then she walked across the parking lot to find her dad's truck. She put her soccer stuff up and got in while they waited for Steve and Bucky since it was his day to pick up the boys.
Thirty minutes later they seen them coming out with the cheerleaders. She seen her boyfriend Colton talking to one of the cheerleaders. She got out of the truck "Colt.." She said
"Oh hey Elle..I didn't know you were here." he said
"Um I had soccer practice and I've sitting here in my dad's truck.." she said
"Oh..um can we talk?" he said as he pulled her away from everyone else.
She looked at him "Why were you talking to Taylor?' she said
"Look Ellie this isn't working for me anymore. I'm a football player and the guys are making fun of me and riding my ass cause I'm dating you. I want to break up I'm sorry. " Colton said
She looked down swallowed back her tears and walked away. "Elle.." Colton said
She got in her dad's truck and kept fighting tears. "Elle honey.." Joe said
She found her phone and plugged in her headphones and blocked out everyone. It was turning into the worse summer ever. After they dropped off Bucky at his house they went home when they walked in Sarah was in the kitchen
"Hey Elle how was practice?' Sarah said as Ellie kept walking up the stairs and slammed the door.
"What's wrong with her?' Sarah said
"I have no idea she's been very quiet especially after she and Colton talked." Joe said
Elle got in the shower and let the flood gates go she and Colton had been together a year and half. Danielle and Dallas were her two best friends who understood what it felt like to share a birthday with a sibling cause they were triplets with their brother Declan. Sarah and Joe went upstairs and heard her in the hallway.
"What happened today?' Sarah said
"I don't know honey." Joe said
Ellie got out of the shower braided her blonde hair and made her a snack in the kitchen after she got dressed.
"Ellie honey do you want to talk about what's wrong?' Sarah said when she came in.
"No." she said
"Elliana.." Joe said
"I said no" she said then went back to her room.
Steve came in with Natasha "Steve do you know what's wrong with your sister?' Sarah said
"No.." he said as he and Natasha went upstairs to his room.
Two days later Joe was in the kitchen when he seen Ellie come in. "Hey Elle baby..hurry up and eat breakfast I'm gonna take you to pick out what car you want for your birthday." Joe said
"okay." she said
She finished up her bowl of cereal then got dressed. She and Joe went to Barton's Car Dealership but she stayed quiet till she picked out a blue jeep rubicon. "This one daddy." she said

"Okay.." Joe said
They let him know when it would be delivered to her house after he put in the paperwork and down payment. When they got home she went back to her room "Any luck?'Sarah said
"No but I know one thing she is seething she's hurt. She's pissed off but I don't know at who though." Joe said
"How do you gather that?' Sarah said
"Because if she was hurt she would have told us by now what was wrong. She has always told us when she's hurt. But when she's been pissed she keeps it inside till she can't hold it in anymore." he said
"Well I hope whatever it is. She will let us know what it is." Sarah said as she hugged her husband.
