Chapter 10: Baby Weston is Coming

On March 17th Ellie was pacing her bedroom as Bucky laid on her bed timing her contractions. "Ellie you aren't helping my nerves can you please sit down." he said 

She let out a breathe "James please.. just time the damn things." she said 

"Okay I would but you are making me nervous come here" he said as he made her sit down beside him. They timed them for another hour "Okay baby doll let's go." he said 

He helped her down the stairs and into his truck. Once they arrived at the hospital as soon as she walked into the ER doors her water broke. Nurses came rushing to her with a wheel chair and wheeled her upstairs as Bucky got her paperwork filled out. 

When he came in Dr Davis was checking her "Okay mama and daddy we are at a 7 and half cm dilated." Dr Davis said 

"Wow.." Bucky said then sent out a text to everyone to let them know where they went. 

Everyone quickly dropped what they were doing and rushed to the hospital. Both James and Joe closed up the Auto Shop. Winnie and Sarah took off an hour early on the ICU floor. Their siblings came in as well they flooded the waiting room. Bucky came out to give them update once he had something different to tell them which was an hour after they came in.

"She's at an 8 and she's in pain cause she the stubborn ass that she is refusing an epiduaral. So there's that now I have to go back before she bites my head off." he said he gave Clara a quick kiss "love you baby." he whispered 

"Love you.." she said with a smile then went back to Ellie's room. 

Three hours later Bucky had her leg in one hand and her hand in the other one as she pushed and pushed and screamed. She was a hot mess full of sweat and tears as she gave birth to their son. They welcomed into the world at 430PM on March 17th Weston James Barnes. She swallowed hard as he looked up at her as he laid on her chest rooting around. "Oh dear god he looks like you.." she said 

"Shut up..he's perfect." he said 

The nurse helped her get him latched as Bucky cut the cord. She looked at him as they rested their foreheads together he smiled at her "You did incredible Elliana Brooke Rogers." he said 

She smiled at him "thanks.." she said 

The nurse said "You two enjoy him for the first hour then we will let family back." 

"Thanks." Bucky said then he went back to Ellie and Weston. 

She looked back at Bucky "he's perfect but he's definitely your mini me." she said 

He smiled "So that's not so bad." he said 

She rolled her eyes "Hey don't be rude." he said 

"I'll be rude if I want." she said as she put their foreheads back together. 

"Oh yeah.." he said

"Yeah.' she said in a low tone. 

Bucky leaned in kissed her lips she started to kiss back. "We can't do this Buck.. your girlfriend is in the waiting room Clara really likes you please don't screw it up." she said as their forheads were together when they broke the kiss.

"I know..I'm sorry I just..I got caught up in the emotions of today that's all." He said 

"It's okay I won't say nothing." she said 

She unlatched him and burped him then let Bucky hold him. "Hey little guy.." he said 

"He's like a tiny football.." he said with a smile

"Oh my god don't you dare do that." she said 

"Well he is." he said

They enjoyed their hour then they were moved to her maternity room where their family and friends came in. Bucky said "Everyone here is Weston James Barnes." 

Winnie and James took him "Oh my word he looks just like you James." Winnie said

"I know she won't shut up about homeschool." he said 

Everyone took their turns holding him even Clara. Bucky walked her out to her car "I'm gonna stay here with her." he said

"Buck I understand that she and the baby come first right now I'm not Raelynn okay.' she said 

"Okay love you baby." he said as he kissed her then went back to their hospital room.
