'Thanks for accepting my friend request on Facebook.' I.T. tapped my shoulder.

'Yeah, no, it's cool.' I forced a smile and looked around, making sure Brody and the gang isn't here. Luckily, no.

Assuming I.T.'s gone, I started hummimg a song to myself while fumbling in my bag for my locker keys.

'You know, you don't have to accept the friend request if you don't want to.'

I jumped, finding I.T. beside me. Seriously, I thought. Still here?

'No, yeah, I wanted to,' If I didn't want to I would have rejected it a long time ago. I guess.

'Oh.'

I pulled out my keys from the bottom of my bag and plunged it into the keyhole. The books spilled out and dropped on the floor in a heap.

'All these shit.' I exhaled heavily, gathering up all the books and stuffing them back in the locker. I snatched up my history books and headed for the classroom.

'So...I'll see you later?' A very familiar plus annoying voice said. It again.

'Yee-ah.' I said, rolling my eyes as I turned away.

***************************

Brody snorted as he planted his butt on the seat next to Ryder. 'Is it gay? I mean, like, it is always stickimg to you like you're its bae.' Jeanz and Ryder howled with laughter. I managed a few laughs. As well.

'Hey Grady my man, what's that that's bothering you,' He asked, taking a sip from his grape flavoured slushie.

'Nothing,' I said, and started poking the chicken around my lunch tray. Stop that Grady, I thought. You're being so obvious that even a fish would know you're lying!

Why fish, Another voice in my brain said.

What, 'cause fish are stupid?

Stop arguing, the third voice in my brain said.

Seriosly, why are YOU here,

'Cause duh, I'm a part of me?

Why am I even arguing to myself?

'Cause uhm, we were starting it?

Seriously, 'we', it's just I.

Well 'I' I for who?

Me! Geez, we are just the same dude.

HA! 'WE'!

Seriously, you ag-

'Obviously, you are not okay.' Ryder said suddenly, thanks to him, the crazy argument inside my brain stopped.

'Is it bothering you?' Brody said, sneering at the word 'it'.

'The freeeeeeak, you mean.' Jeanz corrected, laughing along with Ryder.

'Nah, I ditched it. It's just my mom and, you know, the whole divorce thing.' I fake laughed while saying it. I hope it would be obivious 'cause I have been practicing my fake laugh for quite a long time and I think I'm mastering it.

'Anyways,' Ryder said, breaking the awkward silence. 'Just tell us if it is ever bothering you, 'cause we're so gonna kill it.' And he and Jeanz went off.

I stood up to leave, but then Brody suddenly grabbed my collar, pulling me towards the janitor's closet.

'Whoa, calm down dude!' I exclaimed, surprised by his sudden move.

He gripped the collar of my shirt tightly, hritting his teeth while he spoke to me. 'You rejected its friend request, didn't you?'

'Yeah,' I said, begging my tounge not to make me stutter.

'Great, because if you didn't, you're dead.' And he released his grip.

****************************

'Mom? I'm-' I paused as see my dad sitting on the couch. My heart at once started beating faster than ever. My blood boiling, head about to explode. I clenched my fists, calming myself down. 'What, are you doing in ,'

'Please let me explain,'

'Not gonna happen, you broke mom's heart once and I'm not letting it happen again.' I said, my fists clenching tighter.

'I just wanna say that I'm really sorry,' he said, ignoring what I said. 'I am a worthless bastard and I know it. I am sorry for leaving your mom and, and everything that I've said that breaks her heart. I just want you and your mom to know that I am really really sorry and I would be overjoyed if you would come to our wed-'

'NO!' I shouted, 'THAT'S JUST GONNA HURT MOM'S HEART EVEN MORE, SO GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE BEFORE SHE FINDS YOU UNGRATEFUL BASTARD IN HERE,' I wanted to punch him so badly, but it just wouldn't do any good.

He stood up and headed for thr door of which I opened for him to get out.

'Grady, I just-'

I slammed the door hard at his face, not allowing him to continue what he wanted to say.

My fists shook. Bastard. Stupid stupid bastard.

*****************************

After I calmed myself down, I called Jeanz and blurted out every single detail of what just happened.

When I finished speaking, Jeanz said, 'Grady?'

'Yeah?'

'Your dad, he's marrying my mom.'

IMPORTANT AUTHOR'S NOTE

OMG WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOUR DAD IS MARRYING YOUR BEST FRIEND'S MOM? GAAAAAAAH!

Sorry for the ch.7 thing cause there's something wrong with my phone. You can, like, delete my book from your library and add it again, so that you won't see the old ch.7 (this case only occurs to some people, not all). Sooooo...ya.

Cereals and golden bananas,

Wendy
