I was on the way home from a soul cycle class when my boyfriend of 5 years today started calling me...
Incoming Call....CB 💙
' baby where are you at?? you need to get home to get dressed to be at the game it starts at 7'
'babe im on the way home from soul cycle and its only 4:30?'
' it takes you an hour to get home with traffic and it takes you about 2 years to get dressed '
' babe ill be there okay I won't miss anything I promise'
' okay baby, ill see you when you get here love you'
'love you too cody'
call ended...
Okay, 20 minutes later I finally made it home. I took a shower really fast washed my hair, towel dried it a little bit but decided to let most of it dry on its own since I was going to be outside.
I decided to wear a white dodgers crop top with blue jean shorts and brown boston style birkenstocks. I made it to the game in the top of the 1st so the dodgers where in the field vs the giants. ew.. just as I sat down with some of the dodgers wags they had gotten out of a jam in the 1st with a inning ending double play. while cody is running back to the dugout he blows me a kiss, I blushed so hard people on the other side of the freakin stadium probably saw it.

the game is tied 2-2 with a joc on 3rd, cody up to bat, and 2 outs. he winks a you before he walks up to the plate & his walk up song starts to play. 'hopefully he hits on out,' you thought to yourself.
pitch 1... ball
pitch 2.... ball
pitch 3....ball
3-0 greenlight???????
next thing I know the forth pitch is coming in to cody and then landing in some other galaxy. he freakin waxedddd that ball. the whole stadium was roaring I couldn't even hear myself think!!! cody is coming around 3rd pointing and I started blushing and crying from excitement this game gets us to the NLCS!!! Once the boys get back to the dugout I start to head on down the the lockeroom to meet him but I was stopped by a security guard...
Cody's POV
I have been trying to figure out where to propose to Mishell for the past month! I decided the ball field would be the best place because one its where we met and two she loves to watch me play. I wanted to do it on a game we won so tonight is going to be the perfect night. we just beat our rivals. in dedication for her Mishell while I was on the way home I pointed at her and I saw her start crying because she was so happy, I have to propose tonight, this is perfect.
after getting gatorade and bat chalk thrown on me I decided to tell the guy what was going on and get our security guide to escort her down to the dugout as soon as I got the ring. Joc got the microphone announcing a surprise and telling all the fans that they would want to stay to see this. Joc quiets the whole stadium down as she's escorted with a blind fold on to the middle of the field where I stand. I take the microphone from Joc and get on one knee as he unties her blind fold.
Mishell's POV
I feel someone taking my blindfold off of me which was put on Kelsey-Jocs wife. As my eyes are being uncovered I soon realized that I am standing in the middle of Dodgers stadium right in front of Joc? I was really confused until I look down and see cody, on one knee. I immediately start crying. Is he doing what I think he's doing ??!!

'YES CODY ! A BILLION TIMES YESSS! I LOVE YOUUUUU' I barely got out from crying so hard.
cody slipped the beautiful big carot ring on my finger and then we shared a kiss as the stadium erupted in AWHS
i am so ready to start my new chapter in life being Mrs. Bellinger
