I took Grayson back to the institute. His death sentence was due for tomorrow. I didn't want him to go.

His hand was on my thigh smiling as the peacefulness of the world and how he was enjoying his last moments on the outside.

We walked in, hand in hand.

"Ahhhh, Ethan!! It's so nice to see you!!"

Ethan? Is she okay?

"Graysons sentence moved to today you know. I don't know if he told you but when he came back yesterday, he said he wanted to do it today. So Dr.Brown said that it was okay to do that. I'm so sorry. It's taking place right now. Through the doors on the left down that corridor."

Me and Grayson looked at each other.

We ran as fast as we could down the corridor and burst through the door.

Seeing a hanging figure dangling from the ceiling. Obviously behind a sheet of something but we could see his shadow. Dr.Brown looked at us with sorrow and guilt.

I ran up to him.

"What happened to ethan?!"

"Ethan came in yesterday saying that he wanted to go quicker. The thought of him dying and his brother dying hurt him and he knew you guys loved each other. Which can I say I didn't know about which could also cost your job Bailey. So if I was you. I would go home and get out of here before anyone thinks it's suspicious."

"Your not going to snitch?"

"Of course not. Grayson is like my son. I've worked so hard on him to make him sane again but I think you were the missing piece."

I looked at gray and smiled with tears threatening to leave me eyes.

"Go!"

I ran out with gray and out the doors. Crying at the thought of Ethan gone. He was such a kind soul and I honestly am sick to my stomach thinking that could have happened to anyone else in the world.

Grayson held my hand tight the whole ride back. It was silent as we heard weeps and the occasional sniffle in the ride.

When we walked through the door, Grayson ran upstairs to his brothers room and I looked at the floor. Picking up all the mail.

" ETHAN DOLAN.
VERY SERIOUS INFORMATION "

What's this?

I opened it up.

"Dear Mr.Dolan,
We have today declared you cancer free!"

I fell to the floor, heartbroken and weak.
