Chapter III

Who Is Kevin?

Well, I have to go to Carl because he is freaking out, so he might call anyone right now! "Can I come tomorrow, or later?" - I said to the old man.

But they looked worried; they were looking at each other like something is going to happen! Anyways, a guy said: I'll come with you, I will help her and protect her, he said to me and to the others.

When we went out of the woods, I realized that the city was a new place for him so he needed to come in my house and stay there.

When we went out of the woods, Clark was freaking out, but he got destructed by the werewolf that came with me.

He asked who was he and how is he in the woods but it didn't go long time until the werewolf threw something at him.

I was going to ask him about that thing, because I don't know what it was, but he said shhh and asked me where Clark's house is.

I told him to follow me, and when we started walking, I asked him what was his name, and then he said:

My name is Kevin.And then I again asked:

 Well, okay Kevin, but do you have a surname?

When we arrived there Kevin hide in a tree and gave me the same thing to wake him up!

 When I poisoned him, he woke up but he didn't know what happen in the past hours.Anyway, Carl got home and then I asked Kevin if he was going to teach me how to survive or fight.

He answered me coldly: "No, but instead I am going to teach you how to control yourself and warn you for the things that could kill you."When we went home I said to my parents that Kevin is my new friend and he is going to give me a tour around the school tomorrow! But in my head I was like "I don't know if he has ever seen school before" but that was the only thing that came in my mind!

Then my mom got worried about what his parents are going to say, and I quickly made something up and said, "he's an orphan", and then my parents without thinking twice invited him IN.But Kevin was looking at me in a strange way, maybe because of the orphan word, well who knows!

When we got into my room I started asking questions that were staying in my head, but as I was speaking, Kevin stopped me and started talking, but he first checked the room.

I don't know why but I didn't say anything.

 Then, he started looking at me and said "today I'm here to take care of you, to protect you from the murders, and to teach you how to control yourself at night because It's not going to be a sweet night tonight."At the same time mom made dinner and called us, but Kevin coldly said I'm not hungry, but I told him if you don't come they were going to suspect something, and you don't want that, right?

We went downstairs and started eating without talking because it was so quiet.

Kevin asked some questions like have I ever kicked somebody with my hands and throw him or her away.

My parents were confused because he was asking difficult questions!

Then mum asked Kevin about the school. Kevin looked at me in a strange way because he didn't know what to say, without thinking he said "Morten High School is the best in town!

We have the best teachers" he quickly turn the face so my mums' trophies and said "especially my math teacher is the best", and my mum made a happy face because she is a math teacher in a different school and she really likes her job. Dinner was over.

Me and Kevin went upstairs and in the hall Kevin's nails started growing up, his eyes turned yellow, and he started being aggressive. At the moment he saw my mums 'aconitum' flowers, he through them outside, and turned normal!"Why do you have wolfs-bane?" - he asked me, but I didn't know what he was talking about.

He looked out of the window and destroyed my wall by breaking a block, throw it in the flower and destroyed it.

 When he broke the wall, we found some bullets inside of it. I found that very interesting because my dad was a lawyer and my mum was a math teacher, so they didn't have anything to do with those bullets!Kevin was so worried that he wanted to break the wall and see what else is inside, but my mum came up and already saw us! But in a few seconds, Kevin took me and moved me, and we both were hidden in my room. I couldn't see anything but Kevin concentrated in my room's wall, I didn't know what he was doing but I didn't interrupt him. When he moved his eyes I asked him what he was doing, he didn't tell me anything, but grabbed a piece of paper from my art notebook, that I use to draw things that I like or things that I imagine.

In that piece of paper he wrote something that I didn't know what it was because he kept that piece of paper for himself and didn't show it to me.I pretended that I forgot that and told him, "now that I'm a werewolf, why didn't I return, and why didn't I lose control".

Then Kevin said: "you didn't experience your first full moon yet, so the wolf-bane would have reacted later at you if I didn't destroy it."
