Till We Meet Again

Chapter 5

     I woke up to my alarm going off at 6:30 in the morning. I stretched and noticed Marshall had his arms rapped around me, holding me closely, and snoring softly. I giggled slightlyand nudged him a little. I spoke softly,"Marshall you want some breakfast before you gotta leave?" He shifted slightly and mumbled huskily,"it's so early ,but yeah. What we gonna eat?" He unwrapped his arms and stretched. "Hm, what about I get the shop up the street deliver some pancakes and bacon?" He smiled a bit,"yeah sure."  I pulled my phone off the charger and called ordering food.
    Marshall and I were sitting on the couch when the food was delivered. Marshall handed me some cash out of him pocket,"I got it." I huffed," Marshall you don't need to do that." He smirked at me slightly," Shut up and take my money, I didn't have to sleep in a hotel room by myself because of you, it's the least I can do." I roll my eyes and pay for the food and hand him his food. Once we were done eating Marshall had to leave.
"I'll text you once I get all settled in", Marshall said leaning against the door. I shrug,"you don't have to text me because you feel like you have to Marshall." He shook his head smirking," shut up you know you like the attention but, it'll keep me busy so." I giggled rolling my eyes,"fine, bye Marshall." "Bye sugar tits", he smirked at me leaving.
     I took a shower and cleaned my kitchen up. After a couple hours my phone went off.

M: This tour bus is boring as hell
S: You poor baby
M: Whatcha up to?
S: Literally fucking nothing. I'm bored too.
M: I got an idea, probably stupid idea but, you still do like makeup and fashion shit?
S: Yeah, why?
M: My stylist for photoshoots just quit I could talk Paul into letting you do it.
S: Oof I have my job and shit here and didn't you guys head out already anyways?
M: Yeah but I could always pay for a plane to our next stop and you could take "emergency" time off for work.
S: Uhm sure I guess? I'll call my boss as soon as you let me know if I can.
M: Okay hold on.
    About ten minutes later Marshall texts me saying Paul approved. I called the beauty store and got my vacation time, I paid my bills upfront for a couple months, cleaned all the perishable foods out of my kitchen, and let Bridgett know I was gonna be gone for a while. I packed a couple of suitcases and double checked to make sure I got everything and then texted Marshall.
S: How am I meeting up with you guys?
M: I got you a plane ticket for Chicago, it's not till tomorrow. Paul will wait for you inside the airport since I don't want the public to see me. I'll be out in the car though.
S: Okay. What time is the flight scheduled for?
M: 8:15 am. When you go to the airport just go up to the desk area and say I bought you your ticket.
S: Okay. Why does it seem like you just want me to hangout with you all the time you barely know me anymore lmao.
  I bite my lip thinking about how I'm just gonna be stuck with Marshall for a couple of months. It's kinda crazy, I mean we just started being friends again after so many years, we don't know each other for shit anymore. My phone vibrates, of course it's Marshall.

M: I don't know kinda just trying to catch up. I mean like just because we haven't talked or anything doesn't mean you're not still you and I'm not still me. I mean like yes people change but they also stay the same? I don't fucking know, you get what I'm saying?
S: Yeah, surprisingly I do. I'm go get some sleep before I gotta get on a dumb ass plane night Marshmallow.
M: Night shorty.
    I smiled to myself falling asleep. I didn't sleep very well through the night and once my alarm went off I knew that today was gonna be a shit show. I got up out of bed gathered my stuff walking out side and called a taxi to the airport. Once I got there I got my ticket from the people at the front desk. I passed through security and texted Marshall when my flight was called.
S: See you in a couple hours I'm boarding the plane.
