But she was awakened the LAST time by the mysterious dripping noise. Anna reached for Max but he wasn't there. Wondering where her parents were at 3:30 AM; they said they'd wake her up when they got back. Looking for Max , she went to her personal bathroom. With the lights turned on, Anna saw that her beloved dog Max had been mutilated and hung from her shower curtain rod. So that's what was dripping. Anna thought to herself too scared to talk. Fighting back tears, she turned to her mirror and saw a note written in blood that read:

"I've watched you from afar Anna. Thanks for the pizza."

Screaming her lungs out, she ran out to the hall, and down the stairs to the kitchen. Where Anna saw that the pizza was indeed gone. She grabbed the phone to call the police, but heard no dial tone!
