Albert: it's good to see you Lincoln how have you been

Lincoln: I've been fine pop pop and it's good to see you too I decided to take your advice and come back

Albert: yes I saw it on the news that the man who threatened you died in prison good riddance I say

Lincoln starts to cry

Lincoln: I should never have run away in the first place I was just so scared that man threatened to hurt my family I thought if I ran away and I dis associated with them they would be safe

Albert hugs Lincoln

Albert: it's not your fault Lincoln it's that man's you were just a kid you were scared you did the only rational thing you could think of at the time

Lincoln: but what about Leni Lori and the others they must hate my guts

Albert: I'm sure with time they'll forgive you but you should really tell him what are you ram

Lincoln: I can't pop pop they don't think I'm lying I know how they are I know how they think they'll definitely think I'm just making excuses

Albert: you may be right the women of the loud family are quite stubborn and even if you tell him the truth they'll find it hard to believe and won't except it sometimes but you're still there family

Lincoln: pop pop I'm not the same little boy I ran away I had to do so many things when I was on the run I lied I stole I beat people up I got into so many fights during the first years on the streets that it resulted in a lot of scars from cuts and bruises

Albert stayed silent

Lincoln: Hank taught me a lot while on the street how to steal how to fight how to run away when you're being chased I did a lot of things I never thought I would do on the streets pop pop and the worst part of it is I started to enjoy it I found thrill in the chase in the hunt in the stealing and all the fights all I got into

Lincoln starts to cry

Lincoln: it was only after Hank died that i snap back into reality and then the lawyer called me and told me that Hank made me the beneficiary of his fortune as he had no other family I had millions at my disposal now normally someone would my age would be happy about that but I wasn't Hank was my mentor without him I was lost so I traveled the world trying to find a place while sending money every now and again anonymously to my family hoping they would use it but then you found me Papa and now I'm here so I need your advice what am I going to do

Albert hugs Lincoln again

Albert: I understand your situation Lincoln believed me out there in the cruel world it is different especially difficult when your homeless you play by a different set of rules and people treat you like you're less than human you had to do what you had to do to survive I do not blame you the good news is you did not seriously hurt anyone and I know how you feel when I lost your grandmother it took a lot of soul-searching for me to recover and like you I wanted to find a place for myself in this world

Lincoln wipes away his tears

Lincoln: what should I do Pop pop I'm scared of meeting my family especially my sisters I will they react when they see me will they want me back or they want me to go away and I'm afraid that that me I was during my time in the streets is still inside of me what if I'm pushed over the edge what if I accidentally hurt them

Albert: that's a what if Lincoln you'll be fine and you won't know the answers just by being here go to your house and meet your family and there's a surprise there waiting for you that you won't expect

Lincoln: what is it pop pop

Albert: sorry Lincoln no spoilers you'll have to see to find out
