Goodbye... [Zilong x Freya]

... It's been a few weeks since I had.... cancer. Only me and my mother knew about this... I didn't want any of my friends to know that I had cancer cause, I don't want them to be sad and I don't want them to worry about me. I let out a sigh as I get up from my bed.

"Freya? Your friends are here." My mom said as she went to my room.

"Okay." I said while looking down at the floor.

"And don't forget, don't ever mention or say anything about your disease Okay?" My mom said as she looked at me at the eyes.

"I won't." I said. I hug her. A tear fell down on my cheek. Then, I went downstairs.

"Oh! There you are Frey!" Rafaela said, and they all look at me. I smiled weakly. I went and sit beside Zilong.

"Frey, are you okay?" Zilong asked me. I nod in response which means 'yes'. Even tho I actually wasn't okay.

"Let's all go to the mall!" Karina said. We all stood up and went to the mall. Mom waved to us which means 'bye'.

*Time Skip*

"Bye Frey." Zilong said. I hug him.

"Bye." I said and he left. I went inside. As I walk to the counter of the kitchen, I fell down on my knees. I felt so weak...

"Freya! Are you okay?!" My mom said as she panicked. She help me stood up.

"You need to rest Freya. We'll go to the hospital tomorrow." Mom said and helped me walk to my room.

*Next Day*

I woke up. My whole body hurts so bad.

"Freya?" Mom said.

"Yea Mom." I said as I stood up carefully.

"Get ready please. We need to go to the hospital today." She said and left. I got ready. Then, I went downstairs. Me and mom left.

*At The Hospital*

"Doctor? How is my daughter Freya?" My mom asked with a worried face.

"Well, I'm sorry to say this but, her cancer is getting worse... She only have 1 more week to live. And probably, she will start losing hair..." The Doctor said. I was so shocked and so is my mom. I cried. Mom hugged me.

"It's okay Freya.." Mom said as she keep rubbing my back. We both decided to go home.

*At home*

As soon as we get home, I quickly ran to the bathroom and puked. Then, I looked at myself in the mirror with teary eyes. I thought to myself, what will happen to Zilong if I left?... Just then, when I touch my hair, some of it started to fall out. I was scared... I decided to go out with Zilong and my other friends to the beach because, maybe after a few days, I won't be able to hang out with them... I call Rafaela.

<Call conversation>
{Freya}: Hello?
{Rafaela}: Hi Frey!
{Freya}: So I was wondering, do you guys wanna go to the beach with me today?
{Rafaela}: Sure! I'll go tell them. Why all of a sudden?
{Freya}: Nothing. I just want to hang out with you guys.
{Rafaela}: Okay! Bye! See ya!
{Freya}: Bye.
<Ends call>

I went to my room and packed a few stuffs. My mom helped me with my stuffs. I waited downstairs and sat at the couch. Then, I heard a beep from a car outside. Well, I guess it's them.

"Bye. Be careful okay?..." my mom said with a worried face. I nod. I went in the car and we drove off.

"Soooo, you guys wanna play some music?" Rafaela said. They all nod their head. I was just looking out the window. Just then, Zilong held my hand.

"Frey? Are you sure you're okay?" Zilong said. I don't want him to know though...

"Yes Zilong, I'm okay. Don't worry too much." I kiss him on the cheeks and hug him.

*At The Beach*

We all sat down in a circle. This is the last time I felt this fresh wind. I caress my hair. But, some of my hair fell off.

"Frey? Why is, why is your hair falling off ?" I heard Zilong said. I gasped.

"Z-Zilong..." A tear fell down on my cheek.

"What's wrong Frey?..." He said. He looked so worried.

"P-Please don't tell this to anyone but, I h-have cancer..." I said and cried. Zilong hug me.

"It's okay Freya... I promise I won't tell anyone..." I could tell he was crying too. I feel so bad for keeping this a secret...

"B-But Zilong... I only have 1 m-more week to live... This is why I asked you guys if you could go to the b-beach with me..." I said while my voice was shaking.

"W-What?...." This is what I'm expecting to happen... Zilong will worry so much but, I don't want him to...

"Zilong... Tell them I'm gonna go home..." I said and kiss him on the lips. Then, I walk away.

"Frey Wait..." I heard him say from behind. It hurts me seeing him like this... I just ignore him and went home while crying.

*1 week later*

It's been 1 week... So... This is basically my last day on earth...

"G-Goodbye mom...." I said while crying. My mom was crying so much. We hug each other. I lay down on my bed.

"G-Goodbye... Zilong.... I love you.." I mumble and close my eyes....

*Few days later*

*Zilong's PoV*

I miss you Freya... I hope you're happy where you are...

"I love you so much... Thanks for everything Freya..."
