Alternate Timeline #1: Nosaka Yuuma

- December, 2018 -

The darkest day of history, he could persume.

In the midst of the snow and fire, only them remains.

Nosaka: Everyone, go back, now! The building will collapse soon.

Asuto: But Iris, she is...!

Nosaka: What happened to her? Didn't she go with you guys?

Asuto: An ambush. They used smoke bombs and take her away. We couldn't do anything less.

Nosaka: ....... I see.

Haizaki: This is no time to regret about what had happened. Behind you!

Asuto and Nosaka looked back. An army of marksmen and gunner were chasing them. This had become too normal to them, but Nosaka could feel something suspicious about this.

Nosaka: Bring everyone back to safety zone as fast as possible. I'll catch up later.

Asuto: Where are you going? Nosaka!

Nosaka: There is something wrong with the attack. Don't worry for me.

Asuto had no choice but to leave him do what he wanted. Of course, he wouldn't forget to tell him to be careful and go back safely. Now, only the fuchsia boy facing an army. Snow kept falling on his hair, wind still blew at his face. He slowly held on to his swords, ready to rescue the companion he put all of his faith and trust on.

Nosaka: This is just a bluff. Iris is still in the building, but it will soon collapse. There is no time to waste.... Well, let's see if what they taught me works or not.

He took no more than a minute to rush towards the army. They shot him as precisely as possible, but either he can dodge it, or slice it into halves. What he had learnt from the assassin twins, Butterfly and Quillen, is priceless, and now, it was helping him to save what he wanted to protect. And it took no long for him for wipe out the whole army with two swords only.

Nosaka: Done. Wait for me, Iris, I'm coming for you.

He rushed into the burning building, hoping to see a stream of white hair. After a while of searching over the corners, he found her in a fire-proof safe, which was peaked out a bit for her to get the little air remained.

Iris: You came for me... *coughs * Thank you, Nosaka-kun.

Nosaka: Let's get out of here while we can. It can collapse any moment.

Nosaka took Iris on his back, but what he didn't expect was when he got out of the building....

Iris: You did come for me, Nosaka. Thank you, for not losing to the weakness inside of you.

Nosaka: It was no problem.... * hugs *

Iris: * blushes * W-what are you-

A bang appeared in the silence. A person lived, but in exchange, one must die. Iris suddenly realised what Nosaka did was to protect her from the ongoing bullet of a sniper. His grasp loosened, and blood dripped down to the ground.

Iris: Nosaka!

Nosaka: I'll be fine.... Don't worry for me.

Iris: You will live, right? Please.... don't leave me alone....

Nosaka: I'll always be here, in those blue petals of your iris..... I love you, and if there is an afterlife, maybe.... I can be the iris to you....

His eyes gently closed, along with a smile, but at the same time, there were tears and a scream under the coming snowstorm....

Mei: Yep. You died * eats watermelons *

Suki: * sweatdrops * Okaaayy.... I guess that is the end of the story. Until next time....

Nosaka: They are mine.

Mei: Mine.
