A day at the base was usually filled with training but today was different. Rylee Dead was the only one out of the ghost squad to remain at the base. She was put in charge of looking after the barracks for the team. "So boring, wish I could've went with them to catch Rorke." she said allowed to no one. She walked around as the birds went quiet; making her stop in her tracks. Her ears focused on footstep coming up from behind her. Rylee whipped around to attack the person only to get knocked unconscious.
The Ghosts came back from their mission only to find a video tape. Keegan went to look for Rylee, seeing as she always greets him after returning to the base. "Rylee, where are you?" Keegan asked into the silent halls. He got that uneasy feeling that something had happened to his love. "Keegan, come quick." Ajax said after finding him in front of Rylee's room. Keegan followed him to the breifing room only to see Rylee slightly bruised. "Hello Ghosts, Give up to fight or you won't see your little friend ever again." a federation soldier said as another started to torture her again. The tape ended and Keegan ran towards the doors with the others trailing behind.
Her body was hurting but she refused to let them into her head. Rorke lift her head to make her face him; noticing the little features like her scar, which he gave her when she first joined the Ghosts. "You will break, they all do."He said only mere inches from her face. "I will never break Rorke, they will find me and when they do; you.will.pay." she replied snapping her mouth shut. He didn't like her answer and continued to torture her even more.
When the Ghosts made it to where Rylee's signal was coming from, they went in silently. "easy boys, we don't know who or what could be around the corner."Elias said as they made it down the hall. Keegan was ahead of them silently taking out the enemy to get to Rylee. He got to where she was being held and eliminated all in the room. "Rylee are you ok?" He asked her as he untied to restraints. "Yea, I'm ok." She replied. Once they were out of the enemy base and on their way home, Keegan grabbed Rylee's hand. "Keegan?" She asked him looking in his direction. "I love you Rylee, i wouldn't know what to do if I had lost you." Keegan said resting his forehead against her. "I love you too, Keegan Russ; and don't you forget it." she replied feeling happy to have him as hers.
