"Woah! Smooth move!" Joey commented as everyone watched the duel at hand, "Yugi caught one of Panik's most powerful monsters, and now he's got two magic cards on the table to boot!"

Panik decided to butt in at that moment, "So what? You captured my Reaper, but he's only one of my powerful monsters." I could see Yami smirk from where I sat, "Getting nervous, Panik?"

Panik narrowed his eyes at Yami, "Grr." Yami crossed his arms, "I may have yet to launch an effective attack against you and your night creatures, but that will all change very soon."

"Ridiculous. What are you talking about?"

"You know what I'm talking about." Yami had that smirk on his face still, "I made you a promise that in five turns I would teach you a lesson that you would never forget, and I intend to make good." Yami held up his hand, showing only four of his fingers. "You have four turns left, Panik. Four more turns before I drag you from your shadows and show you up for the bully that you truly are."

Panik narrowed his eyes, "You dolt!" Panik rose his clenched fist up, "Have you forgotten whom you face here?" He then slammed his fist down onto the panel, and I flinched when I saw the fire shoot out from their respective places. I turned my head away, keeping my gaze on the ground, pulling my bottom lip between my teeth. I then scowled, steeling my gaze as I turned my attention back to the duel. I wouldn't let them ruin things for me, I couldn't let it distract me at any sight or mentioning of it. I had to keep it from affecting me as it would only drag me down.

I was brought out of my thoughts as a bright light shined from the dueling field and I turned my head, covering my eyes with my arms. "Stop! Stop it! I can't stand the light!" I could hear Panik shout, and I couldn't help but smile when the bright light had faded. Now Yami has a good chance at winning this duel!

"Your monsters are revealed!"

Tristan grinned, pumping his fist into the air, "Ha! No one keeps Yugi in the dark!"

"Even Panik's cards are revealed now!" Tea piped up.

"No more hiding, Panik." Yami said, the Curse of Dragon letting out a screech. "Your darkness will shield you no longer." Yami then showed three fingers, "Three turns left, and then you're finished." I could hear Panik let out a growling sound. "I didn't use the swords," Panik's mouth dropped open, "Just to reveal your monsters. It also causes all the monsters on the field to be frozen for three turns. Starting right now. And that means you can't attack me while I implement my strategy."

Panik's eye twitched before he then smirked, "You're stalling, Panik." Yami commented, "Afraid to draw your next card?" Panik narrowed his eyes, drawing a card from his deck and he then chuckled.

"Yugi, you can forget about your plan to defeat me in three turns," Panik seemed pretty pleased with the card he just drew, "I've drawn a Chaos Shield Card."

Yami's eyes narrowed, "Oh, no. That affects all the monsters on the field. It puts them all in defense mode and raises their defense points."

Panik played the card at that moment, "You're thinking too small, you fool." He raised his arms into the air, "Or do you not realize that I can combine my Chaos Shield with my Castle of Dark Illusions."

Mai had stepped up from where she stood by my side, "This is bad."

"With this combination," Panik continued, "I can project a defensive shield over my entire area." I got up onto my feet, wincing slightly at the sharp pain I felt from my ankle but then watched as the shield surrounded Panik's side of the field.

"Now Yugi can't get anywhere near his monsters!" Mai exclaimed.

"Whoa..."

"What's that mean?
