History was a total bore. I'm not a huge history fan in the first place, but I swear, this was so boring. The teacher, Mrs. Young, had decided we were all gonna get to know each other, so planned a ton of "get to know your history classmates" game where pretty much threw out the whole period, your saying your name over and over again. I was excited when the bell rang and I ran to my over to my Math class to get away from all that horror. I saw Chloe sitting in a seat at the back of the classroom (we always pick those seats because then we can talk away and stuff and the teacher won't notice) and I sat next to her. "Hey girl!" she said. I smiled at her and me did our little handshake we made up. At the end we started giggling.I don't know why?! Finally our teacher Mr. Hamilton walked into the room. He had a big smile on his face for once, since he was usually grouchy. If your wondering how I know that, It's because I had him last year and we didn't get along very well. "We have a new student in this Math class that had transferred from the school Roberson High. You may see him in other classes but that doesn't really matter." He said. He must have really liked this student. " His name is Daniel. Come on in Daniel." The new student entered the room. My jaw dropped. The new student, or Daniel, had icy blue eyes and black hair that almost covered his eyes. He. Was. Hot. Chloe and I looked at each other in shock. "I need someone to show Daniel around the school." Mr.Hamilton said. Pretty much every girl raised there hand except for me. I was still in shock from Daniel. When I see something I like, I zone out. Of course Mr.Hamilton always picked the person with their hand down. So he points right at me and all the girls stare and look at me. Chloe shoves me out of my seat but I catch my balance and stand straight up.I look at Daniel. I couldn't stop! His eyes were so dreamy. I walked to the front keeping my eyes locked with Daniel's. He had a smile on his face, his beautiful white teeth showing. "Daniel, this is Alex." Mr.Hamilton says. "H-Hey." I say, faintly. "I want you to show him all the classrooms. Even the bathrooms." Mr. Hamilton said. Daniel and I then walked out of the room. We unlocked are eyes and I kept my head down until he said. "Alex. What a beautiful name." I look up at him. Did he just say that! My face started to turn red. " Thank you." I finally said. He gave a small laugh. Why? Was my face so red it looked like my hair? I was nervous, okay! I then showed him the bathrooms, the gym, and all the classrooms. When we were walking back to our classroom, he started to talk to me. Yay! "You know, just looking at you, i can tell your really sweet." I started to blush again. "I don't know." I said. "Nobody ever says that to me." He stared at me and started to smile. "We should hang out some time." He looked around and tore off a piece of paper on the wall and wrote his phone number. I tore off a piece too and wrote down mine and we traded. I didn't even realize we were back at our classroom. "Ill see you later." He said, and we both took our seats. He was so far away from me. He sat in the row I front of me, two seats down from mine. I should Chloe the phone numbered and she silent screamed. Math class then started and we learned about adding and subtracting. Maybe he was starting off easy. But no. It started off with. "Okay class, now were gonna do some adding and subtracting." So he wrote down 549 -267+4238-617+392=?. I was like what! And we had to do it in our heads. I groaned, gave up, and started doodling for the rest of the class. I have to admit, other than the math, it's been a pretty good day so far.
