Underneath the glare of a dark evening sky, minuscule particles fall from the cathedral, decorating the walkway with unceremonious dust. The glancing off numerous umbrellas below produces no sound and gives no one warning of their presence. 

One observer stands with his mouth agape, eyes wide, and full of appreciation of the ancient artwork hovering above him.

His eyes squint with eager interest into the motivations which created this magnificent structure. Many feet above him, the creature in stone offers an imperceptible smirk, knowing the granules of longing fall and now find impregnation within an unsuspecting soul.

Later, this soul will feel the fullness of unfettered, patient darkness and carry with him omens for all.
