Powerful yet powerless (scarlet America)

Chapter 1

Wanda walked out of her bedroom she yawned. She saw Steve sitting on the couch watching tv she took a few steps forward and then he noticed her. "Good morning Wanda"! He said cheerfully. "Morning". Wanda said sleepily. "You tired"? He asked. "Yeah, I just got up". Wanda replied. "Remember I'm taking you on a tour of New York City today". He reminded her. "Yeah". Wanda said then she smiled. 

Natasha came out of her room. Then the rest of the team did within the next hour. "Have fun touring New York". Tony said. "Oh and Steve remember to take your phone, it doesn't look that same as it did 79 years ago". He said sarcastically. Steve glared at him. "Lighten up America boy". Tony laughed.

Wanda and Steve left Stark towers. Wanda remembered her phone, otherwise if they got lost she would never hear the end of it. "Wanda! Wanda". Steve shouted. Wanda snapped out of her thoughts. "Yeah"? She asked. Steve pointed at a breathtakingly tall building. She gasped in amazement. "That's the Empire State Building". Steve said. "Can we go up"? Wanda asked. "Well... that might take a while. A lot of people are going up there". He pointed out. Wanda just laughed.

She took a deep breath and grasped Steve's hand. She held on to him as she started flying. They went up and up until they landed on top of the building. Wanda stumbled not used to carrying someone while flying. She started falling. She gasped trying to regain her balance but she was to disoriented from the flight. Luckily Steve caught her. She relaxed in his strong embrace. "Thanks". She managed to say.

Steve smiled at her with his perfect white teeth. "Wow"! He exclaimed. "That was amazing Wanda!" Wanda blushed. "Yeah". She said quietly. Steve looked at the sky it was almost noon. "We should be getting back now". Steve noted. "Tony is annoying enough already". Wanda nodded and let Steve guide her down the stairs and back to Stark towers.
