Chapter one: Nightmare

~Sal~

Sat up. Wide awake. Waiting. Sal was often awake at night or very early in the morning whenever he was supposed to be sleeping. When all he could hear was scilence. But this night seemed different. Sal felt alone. Sad. Surrounded in darkness. Scared. Which he did not like at all. He made his way over to the small cabinet by his door and grabbed the walkie-talkie. He hesitantly pressed the button and gently spoke into it. "Larry....can I come down....?" Sal quietly questioned. He layed down for a few minutes before he got a muffled response from the talkie. "Yeah sure, something happen?" Larry questioned through the gadget. "Yeah, tell you when I get there dude." Sal got dressed and left.

~Sal~

He got out of the elevator and shakily walked down the small hall to Larry's apartment. Sally knocked on the dull greyish door and was warmly greeted by Larry pulling him into an embrace. "H-hey! Bro cut it out!" Sal said through muffled laughter (because of his mask) before he started crying bitterly into Larry's shoulder. "Jesus fuck bro! Come in, what happened?" Larry softly questioned as he led the smaller boy to his room. "Nightmare?" Sal paused for a minute before responding with "Yeah...but I won't go into detail..." Sal was stopped by yet another embrace, which made him cry even more than he had before. "Sshhhh.....don't cry sal......it's okay...I'm here for you...." The brown haired boy encouraged. "I-i don't want t-to let go....." Sal whimpered through bitter tears. "Then don't..... You wanna stay here the night?....." Larry asked slowly, to which sal nodded lightly.

They both got into bed (still hugging) and closed their eyes. "Y'know this is kinda gay." Joked sal to which they paused then burst out laughing. "G'night bro." Larry whispered. "Night." Sal responded.

~Sal~

"I love you Larry....and I have for ages....since the first few days that I knew you. As we grew it just got stronger....and you started dating these other people......I felt broken, but I knew those people would break up with you.....and they did.....I want to make you mine.......just please hear me out.....I love you." Sal whispered these words into the older boy's ear. To Sal's suprise, Larry turned around and stared at him with tears in his eyes. They just stared at eachother before sitting up on the bed, and grabbing eachother's hands. "Sally....I love you too....I never thought you would ever say those words....." Larry whispered before running his fingers through Sal's thick blue hair and resting his hand on his shoulder. Sal couldn't take it anymore. He threw his arms around Larry's neck and pulled him in for a kiss.

Larry didn't hesitate. He immediately kissed back. It lasted for about 2 minutes before they broke away from eachother. "Does that clear anything up for you?" Larry joked. Sal was crying at this point. Sal unclipped the top strap (they kissed by taking off the bottom strap of his mask) and threw aside his mask. "Does THIS make you regret what you just said and did?" Sal painfully joked to which Larry said "Sally fisher. I think you are the most beautiful person I have ever met. Don't ever say stuff like that! I love you for who you are AND how you look." Larry smiled warmly as he said this, as did sal. "Night fisher." Larry said. "Night lar- bear~" Sally said.
