Point of view: Brandon
Brandon awoke to only find two pairs of eyes looking concernedly at him. The eyes belonged to a policeman. He sat up rather quickly and was hit by a sudden rush of dizziness. So he just fell back. When he woke up again he was in a hospital bed. There were two people crowding around his bed. One was the policeman and the other was a nurse. The police man looked at him kindly and asked
"How are you feeling son?"
"Fine, I guess."
"I hope your fine enough to remember what happened."
He told everything except the part of the blue light. At the end of the story the doctor had come and was looking ghastly at Brandon. Brandons eyes grew wide and welled up with tears and he remembered what happened. He rubbed his eyes to make sure that it wasn't a dream.
"Are you okay?"asked the policeman.
"I'm okay, Officer." the doctor said sarcastically while imitating his voice. "Of course, he's not okay. He was punched, like seven times." the doctor rolled his eyes.
" I didn't ask you!" snapped the officer.
"There's no law saying that doctors can't talk to an officer!"
A nurse who was passing by whistled and muttered "Buuuuurn!"
"What did you say?" said the almost shouting officer.
"Nothing!" squeaked the nurse as she walked a little quicker.
The officer's face was red and his fists were clenched. Brandon tried not to laugh at how silly the officer looked. Or to be exact, the head officer, as it said so on his tag.
