i drove around aimlessly for about five minutes after getting out of the school "Sam you do know i have no idea where to go right?"

"oh you sorry i forgot" he grinned sheepishly at me "go right here then left at the roundabout we shall go to the mall"

the rest of the drive was taken up by Sam telling me where to go when we finally got there and i was looking for a park Sam spoke up "tashie i heard about your mom" i tensed waiting for what he'd say next "are you ok tashie? that must of freaked you out" well it did i thought to myself freaked me out and scared me for life "I'm ok Sam" he sighed "i know your not ok tashie when your ready to talk to me about it just tell me ok?." i looked at him his face all stretched up in concern "ok Sam when i need to talk I'll come see you" i turned around hoping he'd get that i was ending the conversation.

30 mins later

sitting in dairy queen starring at my drink i had managed to finishing large oreo royal shake in around three minutes, Sam looked at me and laughed,

"what's wrong sunshine did it not last long enough?"

i sighed "no, it did not last long enough i was only just getting into it"

he laughed at me " well then i guess we need to find something else to do, what are you wearing tonight?"

"my jeans, why?" he looked at me with an odd expression

"what is the one rule my mother always stuck to no matter how much you begged"

i thought on this for a second and then it dawned on me "oh crap she's not still doing that?"

"she sure is" the look on my face must have said it all

"but i don't own any dresses!"

"we will just have to buy you one, just be glad you don't have to wear a tie" he shuddered at the thought making me laugh.

"right come on then let's get on with this" good thing dad gave me one of his credit cards as a bribe to be nice to cristie

We went into charlotte russe after searching the mall for an hour Sam looked like he was regretting ever reminding me if the rule.

As i looked though the dresses i found three that i quite liked

"Sam hold my bag would you?"

"ok but you have to pick one from here ok?" he looked exhausted so i agreed.

I tried the first two on and they were turned down with a shake of Sam's head. I came out in the last dress and Sam's jaw dropped

he gaped at me "wow tashie, you look..."

I grinned at him 'hot, gorgeous, amazingly sexy?' i sung in a singing voice

He rolled his eyes at me "hurry up and go buy it it's nearly time for school to finish so we gotta go home. "

As i payed for the dress Sam came up behind me "the dress looked amazing you know"

i smiled "thanks sammie"

"your welcome just don't ever wear it out ok?"

frowning i asked "why not?"

"because tashie i don't want to have to fight off any assholes that deside to mess with you"
