Students rushed out of the school screaming and shouting, cheerfully yelling to friends as bright smiles adorned most faces but a few walked alone and quietly slipped away disappearing in the rowdy crowd. It's been three weeks since she had first visited Antaku, three weeks since she first learnt her sister and mother were also here. which meant three weeks of planning, She did some digging and found the school and home address of her sister. So here she was sitting with her legs dangling over the edge of a 5 story building watching some stupid bratty humans leave the shit hole they called Tokyo High School.

She is here, Faith could feel it. she waited silently watching like a hawk, waiting to put her plan into motion, a few of the students noticed her watching and waiting hidden by a black surgical mask and hoodie. some pointed and whispered to their friends while others shouted. In the end, a crowd had formed, students parents and people just passing by looked up at Faith wondering what she was doing. from her perch, she heard accusations thrown her way. 'stalker' and 'creep' among them. Amongst the crowd Faith's eagle-sharp vision spotted familiar white hair. It was her. It was time.

"Hey, Hope look up there!" Miho gasped rushing to the large crowd. reluctantly she joined her friend staring up at the apartment building across the street, on the very edge literally millimetres from falling sat a hooded person, who stared intently at the people below. Hope shivered, "what the hell is wrong with them?".

"They're a ghoul" Miho whispered certainly. With a determined look, much to Hopes dismay, Miho walked forward pushing through the crowd until she was standing alone in front of everyone.  The traffic had stopped as the crowd had spilled onto the road and some drivers even got out of their cars to look up and point at the masked figure Miho believed a ghoul. 'Miho is never wrong when she believes some on to be a ghoul! her bloodline is filled with great ghoul investigators but...' Her gut wrenched and twisted, a lump formed in her throat, what was Miho going to do? what if she was right? what would a ghoul even want here?

the crowd became hushed and watched in silence and another figure appeared, wearing a bright red suit a strange semi-circle mask covering most of their face. Faith pushed her worry down and maneuvered through the crowd. standing in front of everyone else behind Miho, but it only made her anxiety worsen, if those people were ghouls, and she was now certain they were, she didn't want to know their intentions. The ghouls were watching her and Miho with predator's eyes yet she somehow found herself being picked out from the crowded people with their eyes.

"ARE YOU JUST GOING TO SIT THERE?!" Miho suddenly shouted, startling everyone, "COME DOWN WOULD YOU?". A ripple of surprised whispers and irritated mutters echoed in the gathered people, teachers, parents and students all wondering what the hell. The ghouls looked at each other, they seemed to be debating something but they spoke so quietly no one human heard.

The Ghoul who was sitting down leaned forward and allowed herself to fall several stories until they landed perfectly okay on the stone pavement. No broken bones and not even flinching on the impact. The ghoul in a red suit looked down and with a shake of his head jumped over the edge landing in a crouching position. The crowd backed away, it was very clear that they were not human. "get back everyone someone calls the CCG!". Shrieks and frightened yells filled the air as the atmosphere became sickeningly thick with tension. The nott in her belly was back and was stronger than before.

Confidently, not at all worried, the first ghoul, a girl Hope now realised, walked forward towards them until she was a mear rulers length away from Miho. Hope wanted to run in front of her friend and protect her but her legs would move, they were frozen in place.  Miho didn't seem panicked, she was holding her head high and staring directly into the eyes of the ghoul in front of her. The ghoul was only a centimetre taller that Miho and seemed of the same age, yet, something about her seemed off like she was going to do something but wasn't sure what.
