The only object in the room was a stiff, rock hard bed attached to the wall. The room itself was barren, quiet and cold. The walls covered from corner to corner in foolproof white tile the only exit was a 3-metre tall airtight steel door. Coachlea was about as fun as watching paint dry. The only visits that anyone got where when Ghoul investigators interrogated them, and well for Faith the only time in the 3 months that she had been locked up, Amon was the only one to question her. He didn't mention or even ask for information about her, only on ghouls and organisations like Aogiri Tree.

"How utterly Boring, I wonder what everyone else is doing..?"

Her words echoed aimlessly around the room before everything went silent again. with only her thoughts to keep her company Faith often thought about Miho and her secret sister, wondering what would happen if they ever met again. 'it couldn't hurt to find out, and I may get the chance soon'. Outside of her cell a bloody battle raged on, Aogiri had attacked and left only a few survivors, Amon, Akira, Jouzou and Shinohara among them all fighting back the damned ghouls.

The light above her head flickered and shut off. The door which seemed impossible to open suddenly moved and the latches unlocked with clicks and clanks, the door opened. For the first time in 3 months, Faith heard something other than her or Amons voice, Blood filled screams and shouts filled the halls, followed by the metallic scent of blood and half-rotten corpses. Men in the same Orange suits as she ran past her now opened cell in excited blurs. 'Did someone break in and free the prisoners? who the hell would be so daring?'

Faith sprinted through the blood-covered halls following the sounds of battle and the reek of the dead. she broke through a doorway and came face to face with a truly horrific sight. Corpses covered the floor, dangled over the railings and blood dripped from the ceiling. 'This must be the centre of coachlea.' Faith thought, Her eyes scanning the lifeless room. "Where is everyone?" Her words met no reply. The sent was faint, drowned out by the blood but still, the familiar scent of Amon and Akira was undeniable.

"I thought everyone was already gone."

Faith jumped, spinning around ready to fight. Behind her stood a tall, broad-shouldered man wearing a large white coat that fell below his shins, His pale face covered by a red mask. one sleeve of his coat was stained crimson red, much like his eyes. A mop of short snow-white hair sat perfectly on his head. "Tatara" Faith growled backing away, "Is this your doing?"

"You haven't changed have you?" he chuckled darkly, "are you going to wait to be captured again or are you going to come with us?"

"I can get out by myself!"

"Can you, Don't be stubborn now dear little Faith."

"Leave me alone!" Huffing Faith turned her head, nose pointed to the roof. Strong arms wrapped around her waist as Tatara lifted her effortlessly off the ground, muttering, "Don't be so troublesome".

Faith didn't open her blue eyes until she felt the cold chill of fresh air, and the sound of cars roaring below her reached her ears. With a gentle thud, Tatara let her bare feet touch the cracked stone of the roof of an abandoned building. There was no one else around them. The sky was dark and clouded, Tatara was already gone, disappearing into the night. 'Why...why do I still allow him to...to treat me as though we're friends'.

"I best be getting home"

It was everywhere, the news, the paper, everyone was talking, whispering and gosiping. The attack of Coachlea 9 days ago Left Tokyo in a state of shock, most of the ghouls excaped and many joined the ghouls reponsable for the attack, Aogiri Tree was getting stronger.

"Hey Hope, do you think Emi escaped the CCG?"

"Why should I care Miho?" Hope stared around her room and then at her friend, "you need to stop with this ghoul business, The CCG and your family already think something is up with you!". Miho frowned and glanced shyly at her book, her dark brown bob covering her dark eyes. "I know but, but I just can't help it! there is so much to know!" Miho sniffled, "Emi was different I could feel it!"

"nonsense" Hope rolled her eyes, "and even if she was alive, what were you going to do? run around and hope that every human eating, bloodthirsty ghoul is her? and what if she discides to eat you? You sound absolutely ridiculous!"

Miho looked down, quietly, her mouth opened to defend her opinions but nothing came out. silence followed, the air awkward and think with unspoken words. 'No one understands, they're not all the same'. Miho silently shifted on Hopes bed and looked out the window, 'Just how many secrets she could learn if she was allowed the chance, who cares if they're a ghoul or human?'

Sitting at the very edge of the roof of the house across the suburban street with her legs dangling down, wearing a plain black mask, much to Miho's amazement and excitement, Emi was staring right back at her holding her finger to her mouth in a shushing gesture. Jaw dropped and eyes wide open Miho stared, 'Emi really had escaped' she thought.

How amusing, Faith had come to check on her secret little sister only to find Hopes odd little human friend, Miho. Smiling under her mask Faith stood up and leapt elegantly to the roof of the next house. Looking over her shoulder her eyes met those of an exited high school girl and with a wave, she ran across the houses out of view.

Faiths feet hit the dirty ground a block away, between two large homes. Children played carelessly in front of the house on her left while the house on her right seemed empty. She Stared at the empty house and waited for Amon and Akira to appear at the window of the top story bathroom with Shinohara and Juzou behind them.

"Long time no see doves" she hummed as she sat on the kitchen bench, "What infomation do you need now?"

"per our agreement, you give us information on everyone except those in the 20th ward." Amon glared gripping his quinqe case tightly. Faith nodded, "ding ding! So what do ya need?" she chirped in a high pitched squeal just to annoy him.
