"We just touched down. I'm grabbing a few cold cases from my desk and I'll be on my way." Spencer says as he speedwalks out of the elevator leaving the team in wait so they could all take the elevator down at the same time. "Where did you want to meet again?"

"You'll see, its a surprise!" Rami chuckles through the speaker as the genius slips back into the elevator followed closely by Garcia who had come out of her cave when she saw him walk across the bullpen.

"A surprise? Rami how are you going to surprise me if I have no clue where we are meeting?" He questions as he struggles to slip his folders into his satchel. He leans his phone between his head and shoulder to use both hands much to Morgan and Prentiss' amusement.

The elevator dings and the doors retract. When Rami speaks his voice has that echoing quality to it again. "Look up, sweetie." Spencer looks up so fast he has to fumble to catch his phone. "Surprise!" The phone line cuts off as the green-eyed man snaps shut his phone. "You didn't tell me you worked with Penny, she called me right after you left."

"I didn't know you guys new each other." Reid said stepping off of the elevator and into the FBI lobby. Rami stands holding a large picnic basket wearing a red sweater that looks too big for him, a pair of black leggings, and his white converse to match his flower crown of the day."How'd you meet?"

"Believe it or not, Junior G Man, we met at a convention!" Penelope speaks from beside him as she and Morgan usher him out of the elevator so the others can get out. "Rami here is a cosplayer for hire, when I met him he was dressed as Princess Leia."

"I'm the only person in a 5000 mile radius who can change from a male to female character in twenty minutes." The green-eyed man shrugs with a soft smile. "So, Doctor Reid, what do my flowers mean today?"

"It's a long list, are you sure you want to hear it?" The agent questions with a smile as he slips his phone into his front pocket and adjusts his satchel on his shoulder.

"Always, besides we haven't even started to walk to the park yet and you haven't attempted to introduce me to your onlooking team." The smaller man tilts his head towards the members of the BAU who are standing just outside of the elevator.

"Right sorry! Um this is Aaron Hotchner, he's our boss. Jennifer Jareau or JJ, she handles what cases we go on and the public eye. That is David Rossi, he's a senior agent and the founder of the BAU, but from your face I can tell you already knew that. Emily Prentiss, she's our most recent new agent but don't let her fool you she's great. And this is Derek Morgan, my best friend." Spencer explains with a lot of pointing and sweeping hand gestures as Rami takes time to shake each person's hand.

"It seems you take a lot of pride in your team, sweetie. I'm glad I got to meet the people that try to keep you from running head first into danger." The smaller man grins shifting the basket to where he is holding it with both hands again now that he isn't meeting anyone.

"Well we try, but pretty boy has a thing for running into dangerous situations." Morgan chuckles throwing his arm around the younger agent. "You gonna tell him what his flowers mean, Reid?"

"Oh I've heard. Just last night I got a story involving a train full of hostages where he took off his kevlar, did close up magic, and talked about the string theory to catch the unsub." Rami laughs quietly.

"We've come on a rare occasion where the flowers you are wearing mean something different together and apart." Spencer cuts in seeing the looks of recollection crossing some of the teams faces. "The red rose alone means true love but the white rose has an entire list of different meanings silence, innocence, wistfulness, virtue, purity, secrecy, reverence and humility." He lists them off on his fingers. "Together the two flowers simply mean unity."

Rami smiles and hooks his arm through Spencer's. "Interesting, but speaking of close up magic there is a show near my apartment on Friday night and if you're in town I was wondering if you'd come with me and tell me how they do their tricks. Thank you, Derek." He nods to the dark skinned man when he leans over to open the door for the two.

"I'd love to. So do you have any coffee in your basket of treats?" The agent asks nodding to the picnic basket as they walk across the parking lot. "The coffee in Texas was pretty awful."

"David Lynch said, 'But even a bad cup of coffee is better than no coffee at all. New York has great water for coffee.'" The smaller man quotes as he opens the picnic basket and passes the brown-eyed man his Walkman which holds a tape with a hand labeled title. "I did however bring coffee."

"So why a Walkman?" Spencer questions as he trades out the device for his cup of coffee.

"Well for individual songs I have my Walkman and for albums I have my record player." Rami begins as he sips his own coffee. "I have a bad rap when it comes to new age electronics, it seems the only ones I can work properly are my phone and laptop."

The agent laughs into his cup's plastic top. "Let me tell you about what the team calls the Reid effect."
