"Okay so how did he do it? How did he make that girl levitate? You said if I couldn't figure it out without looking it up, you'd tell me." Rami asks as Spencer walks into the lobby of the FBI on Monday morning. He steps into the elevator as the smaller man begins cursing at his cat. "Damocles get off the damn counter, oh my god! How many times do I have to tell you, you brat?"

Spencer laughs as a muted meow comes through the phone and pauses at the door to the bullpen when he sees a horde of people milling around inside. "Hey, I'm gonna have to tell you at dinner tonight. I'll call you when I leave."

"Okay, are you sure having dinner on a Monday is okay? I know how busy it can get there." The man asks nervousness seeping into his voice and the agent can tell without seeing him that he is wrapping his finger in the hem of whatever sweater he's wearing today.

"You finished half a semester in a little under a month, that's cause for celebration, Rami." The genius comments as two men in army camouflage pass him and walk into the BAU bullpen.

"The online classes are a lot faster and I've had more free time since I hired Sandra full time, it's really not that impressive. I'll see you later, sweetie. Bye!" The line clicks off and Spencer closes his phone, slipping it into the front pocket of his slacks as he steps into the crowded room and waves down JJ for some answers.

Rami hums as he pipes a neat swirl of homemade chocolate mousse into a coverable glass bowl before moving on to the other bowl to do the same. Right when he sets the empty piping bag aside his phone begins to trill and a cursory look at his stove clock tells him that it's too early for Spencer to be calling. He flips open the phone and clicks the green answer button before angling it between his shoulder and ear while he begins to put blackberries and raspberries over top of the treat. "Go for Di'Nair."

"Rami? It's Derek Morgan." A familiar voice comes through the phone as the man pauses tucking a sprig of mint into each dessert.

"Oh my god. Is Spencer alright?" He questions reaching up to grasp his phone as he looks around for his keys and wallet that he had dropped somewhere in here when he began prepping for dinner.

"He'll be fine but he's in the hospital. You may want to bring him a snack I'm eating his jell-o." Derek comments as the man puts lids over the two bowls of mousse and slides them into a satchel along with his wallet and his consultant ID just in case. "We're at Saint Ives. Containment room 4. Rami is a nickname for something right? I ask because I have to give them your full name so they can ID you."

"My full name is Raymond Andrew Di'Nair, and I'm wearing a grey turtleneck sweater, jean shorts, and a daisy flower crown." He rattles off as he locks his apartment and dashes down the stairs to hail a cab. "I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

When he gets to the hospital he doges most of the people in the room and runs right up to the front desk while pulling out his wallet so he can show the man behind it his drivers license and tell him Spencer's name and room number. The man waves him back and he sighs in relief as he rounds the corner and sees a familiar blonde woman. "Jennifer! Can you take me to Spencer's room?"

The woman looks over at him and away from Agent Hotchner and her eyes widen significantly. "You-? Um, yeah, this way." She waves him over trying to keep her eyes on his as she and her boss walk him over to the genius' room.

"You can look, I don't mind. I usually change it and wear pants when I leave the house so I can understand your surprise." Rami offers up as he slips his wallet back into his satchel and they enter Spencer's room.

"Rami? Is this why you didn't pass the physical?" Derek questions looking away from the still sleeping genius with a spoon full of jell-o hovering just in front of his mouth.

The green eyed man looks down at his left leg where a prosthetic begins just under his knee and the curved metal foot holds him up. "The examiner laughed at me and wouldn't even let me do the tests. I tried two more times and it was the same guy so I settled for police consultant after my mama passed away."

Both Morgan and Hotchner frown and the darker skinned male sets his spoon back in his jell-o cup. "You're telling me that because you have no leg they wouldn't let you take the physical? If you don't mind my asking, how did you lose it?"

"Someone assaulted my mama while I was inside her. I was born with a dead lower leg because of it and it had to be removed when I was an infant." Rami shrugs moving to brush some of Spencer's hair out of his face before stepping away from the bed so he could set his satchel down on the free chair. "It certainly doesn't keep me from functioning and I'm sure I could have more than passed the tests if I would have been allowed to take them. I would have been on this team, actually."

"Do you remember who this examiner was?" Hotch questions opening his phone.

"Yeah, Austin Davies. He was a jock type, hitting on all the women that came in to test. Called me a cripple." The brunet replies and the man nods stepping out of the room with JJ.

"Is there any more jell-o?" Spencer rasps and the smaller man turns back towards the hospital bed to find the agent squinting confusedly at his friend.

"No, Derek ate it all. I did however bring what was going to be our dessert if you are up for that." Rami says pulling the rolling table over to the other man as he tries to sit up.

"Rami... your leg." The older man whispers looking over the side of the bed.

"I was going to tell you on our next date, I figured I should at least get to number five before I let you know I'm only four-fifths of a person." The green-eyed man scratches the back of his head as his pulls the glass containers out of his messenger bag. "I brought chocolate mousse with berries."

"Don't say that." Spencer murmurs as the smaller man sets down the bowls and pulls up his chair snagging a few wrapped utensils from Spencer's food tray.

"Say what?" The other man questions as he pulls the lids off and pushes one of the bowls closer to the weakened man along with one of the utensil packets.

"That you aren't a whole person." The doctor clarifies pulling a spoon out. "You're better than that. This looks delicious, thank you."

"Your welcome. So, since I doubt you want our first kiss to be in a hospital next to your best friend, tell me what my crown means today." Rami commands leaning forward to take a bit of his own dessert.

"Daisies generally symbolize Innocence, loyal love, purity, faith, cheer, and simplicity." Spencer starts as he scoops up some of the mousse and a raspberry. "However in Shakespear's Hamlet they mean disassembling." He puts the spoon into his mouth and promptly groans. "This is delicious."
