I blushed a bit before I took his hand in mine, smiling up at him as we left my room and continued out the building, letting him lead me as we walked along the road. Our intertwined hands never let the other go and our conversation never once faltered. After what seemed like only a few minutes, we arrived at this cute cafe, causing me to gap in awe.

The cafe was like a small cottage, with flowers overflowing from the windowsills, surrounding the perimeters of the building, some of the flowers slowly crawling up the wall. But overall, it just reminded me of a small gingerbread house with flowers covering it.

I turned to him as we walked into the cafe. "How did you find out about this place."

He looked at me out of the corner of his eye as the hostess lead us to our seats. "I have my ways." he simply said, a smile tugging at the edge of his lips.

We sat down and smiled at the hostess as she let us know that our waiter would be with us shortly.

As she left, I turned to Colton, a look of ponderment on my face. "Hey, guess what we talked about in class?"

Colton winced as he raised his hand to rub the back of his neck. "I kinda know already. Henry brought it up when I saw him on my way to your room the first time."

I blushed as the still-fresh memory popped into my head, but I pushed it to the back of my mind as I tried to stay focus. "Well, I wanna know if there's anyway to tell the difference between a werewolf and a blood drinker. I know that blood drinkers can turn into bats and we can only turn into a wolf, but is there any ... physical differences so that I can be able to tell the differences immediately?"

He looked at me, thinking a bit before he opened his mouth. "I, myself, have never encountered a blood drinker yet... but Henry told me that they have this tattoo..." He trailed off, grabbing a napkin and asked one of the passing waitress if they had a pen he could use. She quickly brought the pen and he immediately started drawing.

"They get this tattoo... of a bat... that's supposed to be somewhere on their face...once they turn into a blood drinker... it's apparenty part of their process of being reborned into one of them ... Henry also said that... they couldn't hide their tattoo with anything... no makeup or anything...." He stopped drawing and showed me the drawing of the bat tattoo. It was pretty amazing though.

He folded the napkin up and slipped it into his pocket. "What's got you asking about this anyway?"

I shrugged. "I just have this ... feeling that I should learn how to tell the difference between us and them."

Just then our waiter came up. "Hey. What can I get you guys tonight?" he said a bit distractedly, still writing down on his pad. But my eyes grew wide as I recognized the black mark that reste to the right of his right eyebrow. I quickly looked at Colton, who noticed as well and had become very tense.

"Uh...actually, we're going to go. My girlfriend isn't feeling well," Colton quickly said, getting up as I feigned sickness. The waiter just shrugged, not even looking up before he left to go to another table.

We quickly ran out of there, hurrying back home to discuss our sightings of the Blood Drinker with the Alpha.
