Ainthiear: (Ay-in-thee-ar) The planet in which the story takes it's setting. It grows strange trees sturdy enough to keep a house on, yet nimble enough to bend to a being's weight. While the trees are strange, so are the waters and deserts. The waters are a mysterious orange all the time but could quench the thirst of a million men in just one gulp. Though, dangerous creatures lurk in these beautiful waters. A massive Clatybern has been known to swallow ships whole in a single bite. And the Ithrodicers have such a haunting tune that men, women, and children alike have been tricked into their deaths almost a hundred times over. There is a folklore in the confines of one race that says: "Be swift and stay on the path, lest the Ithros find ye. Fall in their traps, and ye'll experience it a million over before ye'll have the chance to be free." The race that spreads this lore is a strict seafaring race. Lastly, the deserts are the most dangerous place for any being to be on Ainthiear. They are full of Otalukes and extra large Birneakes. These beasts have been known to lurke in the infinite loop of the sand storm that rages there and never stops. If you don't get killed by them, or the lake of water, the wind will kill you. The tress are in the lush forests of the Carganight nation. The waters border almost all the way around the Land of the Manotirs. And the desert is split down the middle of the Gerbonuds and the Hinodas.

Carganight: (Car-guh-nite) The main race in the story. They are like the most exotic, beautiful people you could find here on earth. Almost all of them have either crystal blue or enchanting red eyes. The ones with brown eyes usually end up as Lights. While they look almost human, they have striped animal ears and tail attached to their body from birth. The type of animal features they have depends on their choice. While some would chose to live with and work with a cat, others may choose a dragon or pheonix. The ancestors of the Carganights were said to be the most powerful and most prestigious of their time.

Gerbonuds: (Jer-bow-noods) A secondary race in the story. The one Gerbonud that the main character meets and befriends happens to be one of the last of his kind, whether or not he'll say so to her. Little is known about their history and details as he will tell her almost none of it. And even less of his homelife. Despite their rough outer shell and tense aura, a Gerbonud is actually very sensitive and caring deep, deep down. Though he will fight tooth and nail for the female he mates.

Manotirs: (May-no-tiers) Another race that rivals the Carganights in prestige and honor. They are a proud people and tend to get very ill mannered and tempered when poked and prodded. They cannot stand questions and would almost prefer to be as alone as the Carganights were it not also for their showy manner towards other people. The ancestors of these people once tried to provoke the Carganights into battle. Only when the World Rulers stepped in did they stop.

Hinodas: (Hih-no-dahs) This race is a timid race and is very easily manipulated and put down. They hardly fight back out of fear and cowardice. The thought of war dreads almost all of them except for the Yers of these people. They seem to be the only ones out of this race willing to care for and protect the rest of them. Though the Yers are dying out as less enemies approach this race and more of the Hinodas are becoming lazy.

Lights(lytes) These are certain Carganights that are held in high honor and they all have brown eyes. They are given anything they desire no matter what the cost. They all have special abilities that set them apart from the rest. One could have the ability to make the flowers grow while the next may have the ability to have any person or persons bend to their exact whim and have them wrapped around their little fingers. They would be the best of the Carganights would it not be for the Airator.
