YN's Pov
I looked down at the graves of the lin kuei that have died protecting the temple from the attack from our enemies. I looked at one in particular his grave read.
Kuai Liang
YN "I'm sorry Father. I couldn't fight."
He died when I was 5 years old and I blame myself. I trained everyday and mastered my Cryomancy abilities to their maximum. I did this as a way to make sure that the legacy that my father had didn't die. I became his successor. I became Sub-Zero, the last member of the Lin Kuei. I sat in solitude everyday not seeing any other people near me.
YN "This is so boring. I understand Solitude is peaceful but I'd like something to happen."
Just then I hear some kind of screaming.
YN "About time."
I create a slide made out of ice and slid to the village down below me. The village is being attack by some little black creatures with red eyes.
YN "What in the hell are you creatures?"
They then start coming at me and so I began freezing them and punching them breaking each creature one by one. They don't stop they keep coming at me so I use both hands and began freezing the ground and keeping them in place as I summon an Ice axe and killed every single one I froze.
Somewhere else
Aqua is walking stopping the beings known as the unversed as well as looking for Terra and Ventus who have both disappeared.
Aqua "Terra?! Ven?! Are you here?!?"
She then sighs and continues her journey.
Aqua "Where could they be?"
Her stomach began growling and so she found a pub and entered and when she did she caught the attention of almost every guy in there.
Man "Well hello there pretty lady. What you doing in a place like this?"
Aqua "Just getting something to eat."
Man 2 "Oh if you come to my house then I'll be sure to get you something to eat."
Aqua "I'm fine. I'll just eat something here."
Bartender "Alright men you all have had way too much to drink so leave the lady alone and get out of here."
Aqua goes to walk to the counter and a man grabs her arm.
Man "I'll leave when she comes with me."
Aqua "LET GO!"
Just then the doors open revealing a man wearing a blue outfit and a cold chill fills the room as every man in the room begins shaking.
Man 4 "S-sub-zero."
Sub-Zero "What is going on? I heard screams."
Bartender "These men wont leave the woman alone."
Sub-Zero "Really? You want to disrespect a woman? How about this. Let her go and you will live to see another day."
They let her go and ran out the door.
He walked up to Aqua and brought his hand out and she took it getting up.
Aqua "Thank you."
Sub-Zero "You're welcome."
Bartender "Ah YN glad to see you here again."
YN "Been a while."
Aqua "Wait. You're Sub-Zero?"
YN "Well I became Sub-Zero after my father, the previous Sub-Zero, died."
Aqua "Oh I'm sorry for your loss."
YN "It's fine."
Bartender "Say YN have you ben seeing weird creatures as of late?"
YN "Yeah took some of them out before I got here why?"
Aqua "Wait. What did these creatures look like?"
YN "They are black with red eyes."
Aqua "Unversed."
YN "You know about these creatures?"
Aqua "Yeah read about them and also when I got here I fought some myself."
YN "Well alright then also what are you out here for?"
Aqua "I am looking for two of my friends we are looking for someone that happens to need to do some explaining."
All of a sudden they hear a crash so they run outside and they spot a creature with four arms.
YN "Oh no. Goro."
