I walk into our unit room with black hayate walking next to me. It seems I'm the first person here yet again, nothing new but i do wonder if the new major will turn up. Nearly all the other majors we had never show up or come in late and then go hang out with other soldiers and expect me to do all the paperwork. Some use to skip small missions knowing they wont be found out. But this major Mustang seems different, he brings me a little hope and maybe we can work with him and fight beside him. As much as i would love that i try and not show how much i wouldn't mind the new major being a good leader. If i did and he turns out like the rest then the rest will never let me forget it. 

As i pass out everyone paperwork for the day, not really caring and just being in my own world the door opens. I didnt notice anyone walk in or just stood staring at me as i dropped a bigger pile on the major desk. He got a lot to read tho and ok many things for our unit. "you dont go easy on the new guy" i hear a voice behind me and i turn round to meet with mustang. "well i wouldn't call you major if i went easy on you" i smile and he just smirks at me. "well then i hope you still me major from now on" mustang smiles at me and walks over to his desk. "well make sure to ok all that by lunch time .... major" i smirk and walk back to my desk to find black hayate sleeping on my chair. 

"is he yours" the major ask as he takes his coat of. "yeah, he was a gift a long time ago" i say with a sadden smile. "i see, he must have been someone very important to still be thought of precious" mustang said with a kind smile and i just nod.  "morning riza, did you sleep well" falman says with a caring smile as he walks into the room and goes to his desk. "morning, have you seen the others yet" I ask with a straight face and he just shakes his head like normal since he always come in after me but way before the rest.  "do the other soldiers come in later often" mustang asked from his desk. "riza always comes in early to make sure everything here and to hand out our work then I do, the rest come in not long after me and before the time limit" falman says with a small smile and mustang nods. 

"morning and warning he got rejected again" fuery says with a small smile as he walks in. "again" I say since he always getting dump or rejected. "yeah seems like this one never turned up to the date, he spent an hour waiting for her and on his way home he saw her with another guy" fuery said with a frown and falman sighs. "please tell me, I'm got a very important mission to do alone, he been talking about getting rejected all morning to work" breda said annoyed since he was stuck with all the nagging.

"hey its not my fault she ditch me in such a horrible way" havoc  said depressed as he walked in the room. "I know but why did you have to complain non stop for twenty minutes on our way to work, I was having a great morning until you came along" breda said annoyed and the two sat at their desk. "riza, you feel sorry for me right" havoc says with a pout hoping the lieutenant would pity him. "well maybe if you work while your were depressed all the time, the females soldiers might date you for giving them less work" I say without looking up and I hear him start on his paperwork for the day. "nice work, lieutenant" mustang grins and I just nod proudly. 

"riza, how is the lazy major doing, do you want to kill him already" Hughes say with a huge grin as he walks in to the room after a couple of hours of us working. "he not bad, I think we might be able to keep this one" I smirk and mustang just grins at me, like we were both children messing around in class.  "I see, well you get to see what he like in a mission" hughes says with a smile as pass me a mission report. "a mission" I ask and he just nods but we both turn to the major when he coughs and stares at us. "are you alright sir" I ask with a little worry. "shouldn't the missions be given to me first" mustang ask and both me and hughes look to each other. "yeah" I say shock since its been awhile since a major ask to see the mission.

"I guess we should get use to a working major" hughes say shock and pass the mission report over. "picking up the Fullmetal Alchemist, I heard about him" mustang says with a small smile. "well you be meeting him very often since he works for our unit" I say and shock the major a little. "well lets go help our fellow soldier and bring him home" mustang smiles and the units all grins. "I guess we see how the Fullmetal Alchemist and the flames Alchemist get along, well I be nice and safe at my desk so enjoy" hughes smiles before he leaves. 

"what do you think he did this time" breda asked with a sigh. "he probably pissed of another town or broke their beliefs making them want to kill him" havoc said as he rub his neck. "wont be the first time" falman said with a frown. "maybe we should put a tracker on him or a babysitter, then we wont have to keep saving him" fuery said with worry and the other three boys nodded. "he not that bad right, he works with this unit" mustang asked with worry. "why do you think he was sent to our unit, we the only ones who can handle him sir" I say and mustang frowns.
