𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫|𝐉𝐚𝐞𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧 𝐍𝐂𝐓

-CHAPTER 19-

I woke up and was kinda motivated for the day.
Idk what's gotten into me but I missed work a lot actually.
The atmosphere was great.

The unique smell of the coffee.
The wind blowing lightly against the curtains.

I got out of my bed and went over to Seulgi's bed to wake her up.

"good morning... why tf are you so motivated?",she said and yawned.

"Idk I just missed everything. It's like the first day.",I simply answered.

She just said "okay" and we both went to get ready for work.

After we changed our clothes and did our hair we went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"We have 20 mins left so we have enough time to eat and talk about some things.",I said.

"Yup. I'm doing us toast... ah and Jaemin bought these fresh apples so take one of em too.", Seulgi said and smiled.

"Great."

"So tell me... how is it with Jaemin?",I asked and smirked.

"Oh yeah, we're gonna go to the cinema today. It was his idea and I just agreed. He's actually really sweet...",she said and blushed then looked at the ground.

"Aww. That's cute!"

"I guess.",she said and I laughed.

"We gotta go now.",I said and we got out.

It was a quiet day. The wind blowing my hair. You could already smell the coffee scent.

We walked in and greeted our boss.

"Good Morning. (Y/n) wow you're here! Are you doing better?",He asked.

"Yes mister.",I said and smiled.
"Thanks for caring."
"Of course I gotta.",He said and smiled.

"Good Morning Seulgi."

"Morning mr."

There was a customer so I went to her and gave her her drink.

Haha it's like I'm new.

Like the first day...

Flashback to the first day:
"Today is my first day at that coffee shop. Wow I'm so excited but so nervous.",I told my sister.

"Don't worry (y/n). You'll definitely do great!",she said.

"Thank you so much for motivating me, 언니 (big sister).",I said and hugged her.

"No worries little sis hahah.",she said and went through my hair with her hands while she was hugging me.

"Now go and show them your best side! And when something happens, call me okay?",She said.

"Okay. Bye...",I said with a nervous smile.

"Don't be nervous! It's gonna be okay.",she said and then left with her car.

I just went inside.

"Hello mr. My name is Kim (Y/n). This is gonna be my first day here.",I said to the boss.

"Hello (Y/n). Welcome here! I hope you do a great job. Seulgi works here too. She can show you how to do some things you don't know.", He said and pointed to a girl who was talking to a costumer.

"You can always ask her or me If you don't understand something."

"Okay... Thanks. I'll give my best.",I said and went to Seulgi.

"Hey. I'm (Y/n). New here."

"Hi. Nice to meet you ,(Y/n). I'm Seulgi."

"What should I do?",I shyly asked.

"Oh I can show you some things you can do. Follow me."

We went to the kitchen and she showed me how to make the different coffee types and all that stuff.

I said thank you and began to work.

...that was my first day.
It was great to have Seulgi as a colleague.
She always helped me with the things I couldn't do.
Such a nice person.

But thanks to my sister...
Well I lost her. She passed away 1 year ago...

Thinking about my sister made me kinda sad so I just continued to work.

I checked my phone and it showed 5:14 pm.

6 more minutes till we can go home.
I'm tired.
And kinda hungry.

"(Y/n)! Seulgi! You can go now. Goodnight."

"Okay sir. Goodnight.",Seulgi and I said and went out the store about to head home.

When we arrived home, we immediately changed into our Pyjamas and went to sleep.

Obviously we both were really tired.

As I closed my eyes, I directly fell asleep.

I was sooo busy with school and finally I have vacation too.
