the light at the end of the tunnel

okay so my first upload managed to magically deleted itself after one person had read it and I forgot to save a copy before I had uploaded it.

so I had to re-write it.... JOY!!

The doctor looked at the boys, a slight smile tugged at his lips.

"Well there is some good news and there is bad news." He said while looking at his notes. All the boys held their breathe while looking at the doctor nervously.

"Hoseok here is going to be fine, he will probably wake up within the next three hours." There was a collective sight of relief, as some of the tension lifted.

"However you will have to be very careful from now on. I have been told about your schedules so I know how extremely demanding it is, but his immune system has been quite significantly weakened by this illness and so if you see him getting even the slightest bit ill you must call a doctor." He said, with one last glance around the room he left.

The boys had all agreed to do as the doctor said and proceeded to sit themselves around the room. On the plastic chairs and the sofa which had been placed in the room. Just waiting and watching, praying for Hoseok to wake up soon.

~time skip~

It had been 2 hours and the nurses had just been in. Jin was sitting on the right side of Hoseok and Jimin was on the left. The rest of the boys had spread themselves around the room and were asleep.

Jimin was holding Hoseoks hand, drawing different shapes lightly on the back of it while humming the truth untold.

"You know I have always loved that song" He heard a weak voice say next to him, looking at the bed he saw Hobi give him a weak smile, gently squeezing his hand.

"Oh my lord don't you scare me like that again!" Jin said loudly, drawing the attention of the group who were gathering at the foot of the bed.

"Hi guys " Hoseok said quietly, unsure of himself.

"How are you feeling? Do you need anything?" Jungkook asked his hyung, smiling from ear to ear.

"I'm okay, just a bit tired still." Hoseok replied, his eyes beginning to droop.

"Get some more sleep hyung, we will talk again once you have a bit more strength." Namjoon said going to tuck him in to the bed a bit more.

"Can you hum that song again?" Hoseok asked turning to Jimin.

"Of course." Jimin replied, as he begun the song the boys watched and Hobi's eyelid begun to flutter, before closing fully, as light snore proceeded from the boy.

~time skip~

The next few hours the boys just watched their member sleep while every now and again Yoongi would leave the room followed by Namjoon, for minutes at a time, talking to someone on the phone. After he was done with all the calls, Yoongi stood by the end on the bed and surveyed the scene silently. Once he saw the boy begin to stir and wake up he called the boys over.

"So we have something to talk about don't we." taehyung said as he played Hobi's hair knowing how much it relaxed him.

"Yes we do" Namjoon followed on and proceeded to explain everything that the doctor had told them earlier and how they were going to go about following these instructions. "So basically if you are feeling unwell at any moment you must tell one of us, is that oaky?"

"Yep that's not a problem for me" Hoseok replied.

He looked at his members who were looking at him, they all had devilish grins on their faces. "What are you not telling me" he asked

"Well while you were sleeping Namjoon and I were on the phone to some people" Yoongi started slowly trying to build the suspense in the room.

"We get to stay here for an extra 3 days once you are better!!" Taehyung burst out, gaining the deadliest glare from yoongi.

"YAH! I was going to tell him" Yoongi said turning to Taehyung who was now hiding behind a laughing Jungkook.

"Sorry I got excited" Was the reply

Hoseok watched on with a huge smile, this meant that he had not ruined the holiday and they could relax and have fun as they had planned.

"How long exactly till I get out of here " He asked

"The doctor said in about 2 days." Jin replied watching a kdrama which was showing on the TV.

Somehow it was possible for Hoseoks smile to get even bigger, this meant they would still have 6 days left and they could do everything they had wanted. They could go to the beach and see the sights, his mind raced with all the possibilities.

~time skip~

Two days had past and the hyung line minus Hoseok were signing the discharge forms while the maknae line were helping him get ready to leave. He was still not as strong as he was normally and he had to take breaks when walking long distances, but he felt better than had felt for a long time.

Jungkook and Taehyung were carrying down the bags they had brought when Jimin walked in, he was sitting on the bed massaging his temples, he still had a headache but it was just a dull throbbing pain, much better that a few days ago.

"Are you ready to go" Jimin asked.

Hoseok smiled "I cant wait to sleep on a normal bed" He said making Jimin laugh as they made their way into the lobby where the rest of the group were waiting.

Even though they knew it would still take a couple of days, they were delighted to see Hoseok back to his old sunshine self, brightening up their day.

The rest of the holiday was filled with fun, laughter and a lot of TLC. They managed to do everything the wanted to do.

And, though the experience was not pleasant, especially for Hoseok, it had brought them all closer.
