The voices are a bit kinder in this after seeing how much he suffered trying to do his duty.

Error's pov

I was making a doll for nightmare when I heard the voices say "Error, Ink is at it again." I sighed, getting up and making a portal to the newest AU. But something was... off, with this one. "Hey guys?" I mumbled at the voices. "Yes Error?" They answered, sounding concerned for once. "Remember that one time you took over my body and killed people you didn't have to?" I asked. I could feel the shame from inside my head. "Yeah, that was when we became more nice to you as well." They answered, not getting my point. "With the way this new AU feels, I feel like you'll have to do that again. So just, don't harm anyone you don't have to, okay?" I could feel them nodding in agreement. "All right then, let's get on with it." I said, walking into the portal.

When I got there, I saw Ink standing in the middle of an infinite white along with tons of judge counterparts from different AUs. There were so many, I couldn't even count them. I could feel panic rising in my throat, which was a signal that they would be taking over soon. My breathing got faster as my vision started to get blocked by Error signs. "Nononono..." I mumble to myself, knowing the voices would be more focused on attack than defence when they took over. Just as I felt like I was losing control, I made a dome of strings around me, making sure that is was enough to defend me from their attacks before it all went black.

  The voices' pov

We analyzed the situation as we rose his body to a standing position. He didn't want to kill, so we wouldn't either. Not after last time... We rose our hands, making strings come out from the dome without losing its structure. We looked at Ink dead in the eye sockets, only to see that his eyes were wide, one of his eye lights being a purple circle while the other was a yellow exclamation sign. We sent the strings straight towards the souls of the judge counterparts around us, analyzing them before making portals to their AUs and just dropping them there. Our face was emotionless as we move our hands, sending everyone home and not harming a single bone in their body. Once everyone, even Ink, was sent home, we handed the control back to Error, him collapsing to the ground out of how tired he was.

Our mission was complete, so we moved back to the depths of his mind.

  Ink's pov

I sat on the ground of the doodlesphere, questioning what I just saw during the fight that was supposed to be the last. What happend? He didn't harm any of us, just sent us home. If he could do that this whole time, why did he keep fighting and getting hurt in the process? I went back to the AU, which he surprisingly hadn't gotten rid of yet, only to see him laying down on the ground, passed out with the dome gone. He jolted awake the moment I stepped foot inside, looking like a child who woke up in the middle of the night to a noise inside his house. He looked around, not seeing me as he mumbled "You guys didn't kill anyone, right? You didn't hurt anyone you didn't have to?" His face changed as if he got an answer, confirming it by the lack of dust he saw around him. " Oh thank Asgore!" He cried out in relief, his posture dropping slightly. "But hold up." He suddenly said, looking around in a frenzy, straightening once again as he was still sat on the ground. "Why would I wake up so quickly when it usually takes me a few days to get my energy back when you take over? What changed around me, what code, what portal, what-" he cut himself off, seeing me standing there. "Oh no, absolutely not! I don't have the energy for this!" He started to panic, his breath getting faster like before. He suddenly calmed himself down, before looking at me once again. That was still panic in his eyes as he looked at me in fear. I took a step towards him, leading him to crawl backwards as a result. I open my mouth to speak, only for him to shreek in fear as he made a portal underneath himself, falling into what I can only assume is the Anti-Void. I looked at where he just stood in shock, was he afraid of me that much! I sighed as I followed him, him not feeling my presence as he cried on the ground. He looked so... broken, his tears staining the white of the Anti-Void. Suddenly, his head shot up, turning towards me as if he was warned by someone. He crawled backwards in fear, hugging a, probably self-made, doll of Blue for comfort. "Hey, it's okay. I won't hurt you." I said in the most comforting voice I could manage, making him look at me in child-like hope. "You... won't?" He asked, his voice barely above a whisper and the only heard because of how quiet the everything is. "Yes. Now, are you all right? Can you explain what happened?" He nodded, letting me sit next to him as he told me about the voices and the defense mechanism they made together. We talked for hours, him answering my questions and revealing to me things I had forgotten. He slowly started to trust me, putting his head on my lap and letting me pet him whenever he cried.

That day was when we started to get closer. First friends, then best friends, and at the end...
