Chapter One: College

LISA'S POV

"So... how's life living with the in-laws?"

Jisoo called me this morning to have our best friend time since we are all busy being a college students, catching up with her during the weekend won't hurt, right? Besides, I miss teasing this chicken lover. Though we go to the same school our schedule is a hindrance for us to see each other.

"The first week was.. awkward? Yeah, I mean, they are really nice and all but it was really awkward but the next weeks then months we became comfortable and close." She answered after her coffee

"That was great for you two. How's the life of being a law student?"

"Sucks." Then she chuckled "But we are enjoying it. Chae is really good at debating and public speaking that is why I never win an argument with her."

I laughed "You're just whipped, Ji."

My phone vibrated, I received a message from Jennie saying that she's at Rose's.

"It looks like they also had their best friend time." I informed Jisoo

She nodded "Let me ask you a question, how's life with Jennie? I mean living under the same roof?"

I smiled. Just the thought of Jennie and I living together now still makes me giddy. We are always together, same house, same school, same schedule but I won't get tired of seeing her every day or even forever. Jennie is not complaining about our situation either but I sometimes push her to go out, treat herself or go out with Chaeyoung. I know that her life doesn't only revolves around me only, giving her personal time and space won't hurt. I love her and I don't want her to think that I am controlling her life just because she's living in my house, our home as I consider it.

"Everything is perfect. Every time I am with her is perfect. I am so head over heels for her, Ji." I chuckled as I realized something "The Lalisa Manoban is so whipped over Kim Jennie."

JENNIE'S POV

"How's life with the famous Lalisa Manoban?" Chae asked me while searching for something to watch on Netflix

We are in their house, sitting on the couch while we still can't decide what to watch.

"Perfect. I still can't believe that I am living the life I want. The life with her. Living with her made me see all the sides of her, her goofy side, serious side, her childishness, how caring she is... I mean she was already caring when I met her but this time more caring, where I should be the one taking care of her. She's the best soon-to-be wife in the damn universe."

Rose giggled "Cheeseballs. I never imagined you being like this, you were not a playgirl but love wasn't in your vocabulary but I was more than grateful that Lisa showed you the real meaning of love."

"Chae... I have something to tell but please don't tell anyone that I told you this..." Rose nodded, waiting for me to continue "Last week, our college friends invited us to have dinner with them but Lisa was being a lazy ass and just asked their driver to drive there. I came home late, Lisa was already pass asleep when I was about to take a shower I heard a soft sob from her. She was crying, she was dreaming of something, of someone. She kept on mumbling 'mommy'. It was heartbreaking to see her like that, Chae." My tears betrayed me again "It hurts seeing her like that, though she's not telling me, I know she feels incomplete without her mom. I... I wish I can do anything about it."

Rose embraced me "Try to talk to her about it, Jen. If she's not ready yet to discuss it, then wait, she'll open up eventually. Make her feel that she can trust you, and you'll not leave her. Try to ask her if she wants to see or find her mom, in that way you'll know how to help her."

"Thank you, Chae." I brushed my tears off "Uh, Riverdale?"

Rose scratched her nape "Jisoo and I already finished season three."

I pouted "I want to see Cheryl Blossom!"

"Yah! You already have a fucking gorgeous Manoban!" Chae continued to browse

"I know? Cheryl is the mythic bitch." I said imitating how Kevin said it "Just the musical episode, please?"

She pinched my cheek "Okay, okay! You mandu cheeks."

I glared at her "Chipmunk."

Rose and I ended up finishing the whole season 3. You can't blame us! The whole fucking mystery about the g and g was a complete mess! Lisa picked me up around 6 pm.  I wonder what she did when I was with Chae.

"How was your day, Lili?"

"It was great. We went to the arcade after we had our coffee. Jisoo was so disappointed, she didn't beat me in any game we played." She said smiling while her eyes were focused on the rode "How about you?"

"Just great as yours. We watched the whole season 3 of Riverdale."

She rolled her eyes "Cheryl Blossom, again?"

Oh! My Lili is jealous.

"So? She's so incredibly hot! She's the total bombshell!" I said like a total fangirl

"That's it! I'm done with this! I'll cancel our engagement. I'll ask daddy to call that Madelaine Petsch to be your fiancé instead."

I can't suppress my laughter anymore "Li.." then I burst into laughter again "I'm... I'm just making you jealous! Aww, so you gonna cancel our engagement?"

She pouted "Not funny! And nope. I would never allow anyone to be your fiancé but me."

"You don't have to be jealous." I stared at her god-made perfect beauty, even her side is perfect "You can be my Toni Topaz."

Her pout turned into a genuine smile "I would love to. I would do the same when Toni saved Cheryl from the sisters."

"Oh, sure you will. You're the great Lalisa Manobangs!"

"What? Manobangs?!" She asked with a little chuckle

"Manobangs! You and your famous bangs." I giggled

"Your brain is... ugh! Stop calling me like that... mandu." She said in a teasing tone

We continued to tease each other till we reached our house. Our home.
