It was a rainy summer that year, the current fairy king, harlequin was sitting under a giant leaf with his younger sister Elaine. "I'm guessing this isn't gonna clear up anytime soon," harlequin said to his sister "yeah it's really coming down.." she didn't really care how much it rain. Elaine loved thunderstorms they fascinated her.

The fairy king remembered that he had to get back with the sins for a mission "hey Elaine I have to go, make sure you guard the forest "

He flew away and Elaine was soon by herself, she flew through the rain on to the sacred tree. She loved how the rain pricked her skin,
It felt so calming, as she stood smiling
One of the smaller fairy's came up to her " lady Elaine! The Ten Commandments have come!"

She looked in the distance of the forest and sensed a dark presence, " help everyone get into their hiding places!" She ordered
The fairy nodded and made sure every fairy was out of sight before the Ten Commandments were in the forest.
"Well this is a disappointment, Where are the fairy's?" Galand asked. "They're normally buzzing around" gloxinia replied crossing his arms, "split up and look around the forest" Zeldris ordered. The eight of the demons nodded and flew to random spots in the forest.

Elaine was standing on the sacred tree, she could sense their magic spread around the forest. Zeldris and Estarossa started walking towards the sacred tree, while discussing their plan "so gloxinia told me there is a holy maiden that guards the fountain of youth." The grey-haired demon said looking around the forest.

"Well if she is there then we'll kill her," Zeldris replied bluntly

"Alright" Estarossa agreed, he didn't care what happened as long as they could get their hands on the forest and its magic. When the brothers arrived at the bottom of the tree they looked up "you want to climb?" Estarossa asked but Zeldris was already halfway up, his wings flying him to the top.
He landed, his wings soon disappearing. The black-haired demon noticed Elaine standing there, looking at him.
"You've come for the fountain of youth haven't you?" She asked knowing the answer. The rain was soaking their hair. "Possibly, and I'm guessing you're the holy maiden"

He asked, "yes I am, now are you gonna kill me or let me live?" Elaine said curling loose hair behind her ear. Estarossa soon flew up and landed on the tree, he started walking over to Elaine pulling out his sword "ah! So this is the maiden, you're pretty small and you don't have wings yet-" Zeldris stepped in between his brother and Elaine
"Wait, we don't need to kill her yet, just leave and find a place to stay dry!" He growled at his brother. Estarossa Was confused but nodded and flew to another part of the forest. "Why did you do that...?" She asked. "I didn't protect you because I like you or anything, I just did it because we can probably use you later!" Zeldris said blushing. He looked away from her. Elaine giggled slightly, " You can sleep here tonight and for the rest of your stay"

Zeldris turned back to her with crossed arms. She pulled out one of her books and sat down in a dry spot to read it. The black-haired demon sat next to her, looking at the book over her shoulder. "What are you reading?" He asked curiously "its a book about the different races in the world. But more specifically I'm reading about your kind" she answered he snatched the book away from her and started reading it
"You could've just asked if you wanted to read it," she said smiling

As the day went by Elaine got tired so she laid her head on his shoulder to rest. Zeldris didn't notice till it was late in the evening he looked at her and back away letting her fall onto the ground "Ah! I'm up!" She looked at Zeldris who was blushing a deep red, "what is it?" Elaine asked. "You look like a bunny in your sleep-"
He covered his mouth realized he was speaking out loud
Elaine's face turned a deep pink as she replied "thank you.."

"IT WASNT A COMPLIMENT!!" He yelled pulling out his sword. "Put that thing away your gonna hurt yourself!" Elaine said getting up and trying to take the sword. She ended up cutting herself on accident, the young fairy pulled her hand away which was bleeding. Zeldris ripped a piece of his clothing off and wrapped it around her hand. "Sorry," He said dropping his sword and rushing over to her.
His emotions confused her
At some points, he was gentle and kind, while others he's scary and offensive.

In one spot in the forest, estarossa was sitting under a tree staying dry from the rain. He was thinking about his lover Emerald
She was part goddess and part demon, she had long curly brown hair that he always loved running his fingers through.
But she's not allowed to come on missions with the commandments, it was against his fathers rules. Although whenever the commandments didn't have a mission he would spend his times with her in Camelot.
He thought about her as he drifted off to sleep

In a second part of the forest derieri and monspeet were asleep, the orange haired demon was hugging her lover while snoring a bit in a branch, staying dry.

A third part had galand and melascula were playing cards under a tree. "I win" melascula said for a 64th time that evening "your really bad at this game, you haven't even won once" She said. Galand stood up and yelled "you're cheating!" Melascula shook her head no "sit down old man, if I were chesting I would've told you sooner"

At a fourth part gloxinia and drole were asleep, the first fairy king sleeping in a tree while the giant was sleeping on the ground.

In a fifth part Fraudrin and Grayroad were asleep in trees

On the sacred tree Zeldris sat back down putting his sword away "can we just calm down and sleep?" Elaine asked "yes maiden.." he growled, she wanted to tell him her name but thought this wasn't the time to do so. Elaine sat her back against a dry part of the tree under a large leaf and started falling asleep. Zeldris was a few feet away from her and ended up falling asleep as well. But scooted closer to her at about midnight.
