Why does this have to happen to me?", Dad: "I'm sorry... We are all hurting..." You hold your moms hand and say "Goodbye Mom, thank you for everything you have done for me... I know your in better place now... Be safe... I love you..". You and your dad leave the room while the doctors come in. You sit outside with your dad and start talking. Dad: "So... Hows it going in California?", Y/N: "Pretty good... I have a boyfriend... I started school and I'm getting good grades...", Dad: "Really? A boyfriend?", Y/N: "Yes dad. A boyfriend" you laugh. Dad: "Why do you seem so sad about it?", Y/N: "I left my friends without telling them. They have been blowing up my phone ever since I left. I was gonna go out with Colby on Friday but then that's when I left...", Dad: "You go back... I'll let you know when to come for the funeral... And if you want, bring Colby along with you. I wanna meet him", Y/N: "Are you sure? You don't need any help?", Dad: "Help? What help?", Y/N: "i don't know, just asking but thank you. It really means a lot" and you give him a hug. You leave the hospital and start making your way back to California. 3 hours later, you get there. You get inside your room and charge your phone. You see 5,457 messages. You stand there in shock. You decide to drive to Colby's house. You get in your car and drive over there. Once you get there, you step out the car, walk to the front door, and take a deep breath. You knock. You see Colby open the door. Colby: "How ca-.... Kaylee!!", Y/N: "Hey...", Colby: "Where were you?!", Y/N: "Kansas...", Colby: "Why?", Y/N: "Because my mom died..." you start crying. He grabs you and gives you a hug. You hug him back. Colby: "I'm so sorry Y/N....", Y/N: "It's ok..." He takes you inside and closes the door behind him. Y/N: "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you, it's just that I di-..." He grabs you and kisses you. You stand there in shock and then you close your eyes and kiss him back. He leaves and you guys get dressed. Once you guys finish, you go downs stairs and see everyone there. You guys stop and look at everyone in shock. Everyone: "Oooooooooooo, y'all fucking!!", Colby: "Shut up guys", Katrina: "Colby, I didn't know you had a girlfriend!!", Colby: "Because we started dating like 3 hours ago", Everyone: "Ohhhhhhhhh", You start walking up stairs and everyone says "Where you going?" you stop and say "I'm gonna to Colby's room" and you nervously laugh. Tara: "No come!! Plzzzz!" And you say "ok fine" You walk down the stair and sit down with everyone. You guys start talking and making jokes and just being weird the whole. Then everyone leaves and you tell Colby "I gotta go. I have school tomorrow", Colby: "Alright, I'm you wanna go out with me on date Friday?", Y/N: "Well I have to pack because on Friday it's my moms funeral and if you want, you can come too. So you can meet my dad", Colby: "Really?", Y/N: "Yeah of course. It was my dad who asked if you can come. He wants to meet you", Colby: "I'm so excited", Y/N: "Yeah me too. Well I gotta go", Colby: "Ok, I'll see you Friday". You give each a other kiss and you leave. You go home with a smile on your face. When you get home, you see Katelyn waiting in front of the door. She says "Y/N!!!!!!" And she runs into your arms. You guys go inside your room and start talking. You tell her everything that happened and you guys finally finish and she leaves and you finally go to sleep with a smile on your face.
