Quirk or Curse

You're late

You were already panting heavily as you ran towards a large building known as a school: Yuuei. It had seemed you woke up quite a bit late, and with you being slow as well, you were now running and panting heavily. You were excited to go to your dream school, do your entrance exam and pass it. That way, you're going to be one step closer to becoming a hero.

You were already running as fast as you can towards the school, not wanting to make yourself less presentable. As you were sprinting, you had closed your eyes enjoyed the breeze, the wind as it made contact with your face. It was as if you felt free this moment. You then imagined yourself being a hero, saving everyone else from trouble, proving to them that you could, indeed, help.

A smile was etched into your face as you ran and avoided others through your enhanced sense of smell. You imagined yourself running along rooftops and the streets, chasing a villain. You continued your fantasies until you felt that you were already in Yuuei, courtesy of the soon-to-be- students in the prestigious hero school murmuring to themselves of how excited they are.

You then opened your eyes as you stood in front of Yuuei. Your eyes were roaming around, as a black haired man with scarf caught your attention. You walked towards him just as he noticed your presence, his face held annoyance.

"So you're the missing student." He sighed in annoyance as you stood there, pursing your lips as you felt ashamed. "Come and follow me, the other students are already doing the entrance exam. And since you're a bit late," he paused as he emphasized the word bit, looking at you through the corner of his eyes as he continued walking with you trailing behind, "you'll be doing the written exam after." He mumbled something under his breath, but you couldn't quite hear what he was saying.

After a bit of walking, you came across a large field. What caught your attention though was that there were mechanical parts scattered everywhere, and the people taking the entrance exam were using the quirks to destroy "Robots?" You muttered to yourself just as the man opened his mouth to speak.

"Yes. Now get in there and destroy robots to earn points for you to pass. There are others who are already ahead of you, since you're late. Make use of the time left." With that, he waved and left you there as the information processed in your brain. "8 MINUTES LEFT! MAKE SURE TO USE YOUR TIME EVERYONE!" A loud voice disrupted you from your thoughts, as you immediately ran inside and went to find robots.

'I have to pass this! I can't afford to fail even though I am soooo late!' After a bit of running around to find robots, you had already spotted one and made yourself run towards it. As you did so, your normal (eye color) orbs changed. Your iris turned red with the sclera being black as small black veins spread across your face from your eyes: your kakugan.

Your kagune appeared from your back, your two, wide blueish-purple ukaku and your 6 thick blueish-green rinkaku being sharp and armored. You had jumped high in the air as two of your rinkaku had pierced the robot. You had also sent a wave of crystal shards towards the robot, piercing its metallic body just as it had fallen to the ground.

You landed to the ground with a thud as you continued making your way around destroying robots. You didn't know how it exactly worked, but just as the man instructed you earlier, you just continued destroying robots, even having to sneak and destroy the ones that others had planned to. A smile was plastered on your face as you sent out a barrage of crystals from your ukaku and as your rinkaku pierced and tightened the hold on the robots, destroying and deforming them.
