"Hello?" I answered my cell phone groggily. I grimaced at my alarm clock on my night stand as it read "3:00 AM." Dammit, who calls at three in the morning?
Nobody replied, and I suddenly felt worried. "Harmony, is it you? Are you okay?" There was still no answer. "Harmony, answer me." I implied impatiently. The line was still silent, so I decided I might as well hang up. I fumbled wih my phone but stopped when I heard a deep voice.
"No, this isn't Harmony. In time I'll tell you who I am, but first I must confirm who you are. Marie, isn't it?" The deep voice spoke to me and I started to grow weary. Stupid prank callers.
"Steve, is this you? You know I hate prank calls." I sighed in annoyance as I waited for the caller to answer. Steve is one of my best friends, and he loves to annoy me, like the boy he is, at the oddest times. There was still no answer, so I played along.
"Uh... yes, this is Marie. Why are you calling me? I have school very early in the morning." I spoke through my teeth by the time I got to my last statement. I'm obviously not a happy person when someone interrupts my sleep.
"You'll learn why I've called you in time. For now, I must go, and you can expect a call from me again. Until next time, Marie." I shuddered as I began to grow paranoid. I let myself off of my elbow and rested my head back onto my pillow. I shut my phone roughly and slammed it on my night stand. If that guy was Steve I'm going to kill him! He know I can't stand prank callers, but if it was somebody else... Ugh, I don't even want to think about it. I shuddered again as the thoughts ran through my mind. I slapped myself and hissed in pain as the thoughts slipped away. I really just hope that it's a stupid prank caller and not a nasty creeper.

"You will learn in time. That's basically all he said." I told Harmony in a waggly creepy voice as I mimicked my unknown caller.
"Wow, that's kind of creepy, but if it's Steve then we'll just beat him until he can't have kids anymore." Harmony winked at me in the mirror as we washed our hands in the girl's restroom.
"Sounds fun, but I don't know if I could be that cruel." I giggled through my words. "It it's Steve, I'll deal with it, but what if it's a creeper? What if he calls again?" I voiced my thoughts out loud as I dried my hands, then messed with my hair a little bit. Today I'm wearing black straight-legged jeans, a light blue shirt, and my favorite white fall coat. I kept my hair in all its natural beautiful glory, dark brown and in shiny bouncy ringlets, with short layered bangs styled to the right side of my face. I was also wearing the shoes that will forever be awesome, black low-top converse. My eyes always seemed to change color, so I never really knew what color they were. What was on my driver's license was hazel, since hazel eyes change color too.
I looked over to Harmony as she spoke, "I don't know, Marie. Perhaps you just shouldn't pick up." Harmony was reapplying her chap stick. Today she wore her distressed blue jeans, white tank top with a brown sweater styled button up coat over it. She also wore her converse, except hers were bright blue and matched the neon blue streaks through out her natural raven black hair. She straightened her hair everyday, and she styled her bangs to the left. Harmony has very light brown, almost carmel colored, eyes. We are both short. I am five feet and two inches, and she is only an inch taller than me. We call it, "fun sized." She met my gaze worriedly and we shrugged at each other.
We grabbed our brown paper bags from the sinks counter top and headed out of the restroom and out to the quad where we ate our lunch. We bought soda out of the vending machine a few feet away from our table, then went to sit down. We shared glances towards each other with raised eye brows as we saw two new guys at the table with Steve.
