* RECAP *
I heard everybody sigh and grumble as the teacher spoke about the upcoming project that we'll be working on through out second quarter. I could already tell that today is going to be a long day. The only thing I'm really curious about is why Samuel and Andrew are now in my class...
--------------------------------------------------
Chemistry ended, it felt like everybody was extremely relieved as they shrugged off the harsh lesson and began dragging themselves to their next class. I pulled my jacket around me tightly as the four of us - Steve, Samuel, Andrew, and I - exited the hallway's double doors.
"So you guys are in our grade? What other classes do you have?" Steve began questioning the guys. He seems really interested in getting some new guy friends.
"Uh... just look at our schedules." Andrew chuckled as he pulled his schedule out of his binder. Samuel did the same, and they handed their schedules to Steve, who came next to me so I could see, too. How ironic, I thought to myself. Steve broke out into an obnoxiously loud round of laughter that filled the hallways of the third floor. Yep, he was laughing because they both just so happen to be in all of my classes.
"How, uh, odd." I commented while trying my best to sound happy and bewildered about it. I already found them a bit weird, so now it just doubled. How the hell did they both get in all of my classes?
Just as we all came up to the next hallways for our next class I stopped and clutched my stomach with one hand, and Steve's arm with the other.
"Steve..." I wined, panicking as my face flushed.
Steve looked at me wide eyed and gasped, "Shit!" He knows what's going on, thank God! He swooped me up into his arms, bridal style, as I groaned and grew weak. He nearly sprinted to the closest waste bin. He set me on my feet, steadied me by holding my waste, then gathered my hair back in his large, strong hands. As my stomach emptied itself in the worst way possible, Steve stood next to me and rubbed my back, comforting me with sweet nothings. Ugh, I love him! He's like the perfect brother in the whole universe. Once I finished I grabbed last years PE shirt out of my bag and wiped my face, just in case there was something on it.
I always have my old PE shirt and sweat pants. I carry them around school incase something embarrassing happens. Like something spilling on me, for example. Since I have already taken my two years of PE/Gym in high school, I no longer need to take PE/Gym. That makes me very happy, for some reason. Ha, PE was never my favorite class.
"Do you want me to take you home, Marie?" Steve's soothing voice broke me out of my revere as he continued to rub my back. Not being able to make any audible reply from the pain I just nodded my head with a soft whimper. I began walking back down the hall and towards the stairs, but Steve refused to let me continue. "Marie, you're not walking. Last time this happened you nearly fell down the stairs and could have broke something." He gave me a soft smile that made my knees grow weak. Steve is very attractive, but it's so hard because we see each other like brother and sister, though he's a charmer and all. So I always keep myself at a safe distance and keep it brother and sister. I wouldn't ever want to lose him as a friend, ever.
