And at last I see the light

Friends!!

Abhi was shocked to see Pragya infront of him'Oh my god!Did she see me following her!'

"You...you are Ajay's friend right?"Pragya asked with a doubt.

Abhi sighed in relief and smiled"yeah! You remember me?"

Pragya smiled widely,"Okay then,I'll leave!"she was about to leave.

"Where are you going?"Abhi asked as if he dont know.

"Im working as a teacher in a school nearby!"she said and was about to move but he stopped.

"If you don't mind,can I join you?"Abhi asked hoping she would let him"Actually I'm new to this place so..."

Pragya thought for a minute"okay"she said with a small smile.

Abhi done a small dance in his mind"Where are you staying?"he asked casually.

"You don't know?opposite to your block!"Pragya said smiling.

"Really???how come...we both are near...but I didn't even see you"Abhi openly lied to her which she immediately believed.

"You didn't see me,but I did!"

This is news"really?how?when?"Abhi asked as he didn't know that even she noticed him.

"Today morning,I saw you,you were sleeping cutely by hugging your guitar"she said with a smile.

Nothing registered in his mind except the word "cute".

'Did she really call me cute?awww....she finds me cute,that's so cute...'he started smiling.

Pragya noticed smiling"what happened?"

"Nothing,I smiled 'cause you called me cute na"Abhi said by blushing.

Pragya rewind her words"Oh,sorry!"

"Ada...its okay,cuteness not admired is a sin,so you haven't done a sin"said Abhi by smiling at her.

Pragya chuckled lightly,after few minutes they reached the school"Okay Bye...sorry I forgot to ask your name"

"Abhi"he forwarded his hands for a hand shake.

"Pragya"she shook his hand.

Abhi felt butterflies flying in his stomach due to her single touch.

Pragya turned to go"shall I come here in the evening,we both can go together to home"he asked by hoping she would accept.

Pragya was taken aback by his question,he wasn't wrong but still she didn't wanted to mingle with anyone right now"I...I...have lots of work,I'll be late,so..."

"Its okay,bye!"Abhi mentally slapped him for asking her like that.

She moved inside the school while Abhi leaned on the gate by admiring her"God you are here!"he closed his eyes with a contented smile.

It was evening,Pragya had finished her works but she didn't wanna go soon to her flat,she didn't want to meet him.So she thought of doing some works to keep her busy.

Abhi knew she lied so he waited for her near his block.But to his surprise she never turned up,he thought she must have told the truth.He stood there waiting for her until it was dark.

Pragya came out of the school and cursed herself for doing so many works.She started to walk,she saw the deserted road and fear engulfled her.She looked around and walked by clutching her bag close to her chest.

Suddenly from no where a speedy bike crossed her,she could smell the alcohol right away,she sneezed and was afraid whether those men would be back.

She started to walk quickly when that bike again came,she held her heart in her hands.

She started to run and finally she was near her building.She saw someone standing there,she quickly ran towards him and held his hand in fear.

Abhi was taken aback as someone held his hand,soon he realised it was her touch and smiled but he could sense her fear.

He slowly brought her to the light area.Pragya saw him and quickly left his hand.

"I..I..I..I'm sorry,I..I...was...they...there"she stammered in fear.

Abhi looked at her eyes slowly placed his hands on her shoulders"You are home!"he said calmy.

Pragya sighed in relief,she looked at him"Actually...I.."

"I know,You lied to me,that you have some work and because of me you had done so many works to make it look real"he said understanding her situation.

Pragya's eyes widened in surprise"How..?"

"I am stupid to ask just like that to a girl"Abhi scolded himself"I'm sorry"he apologized"good night"he started moving towards his block.

"Abhi!"after a lot of confusion she called him.

Abhi stopped and his face had a victorious smile as if he had predicted this.

He turned around by changing his reactions"yes"

"Friends!"Pragya forwarded her hands towards him.

Abhi was surprised,he didn't expect this soon.He looked at her hand and at her.

Pragya was not sure why she started trusting a stranger she has known only for few hours,but still she gave in.

Abhi shook his hands with her"Friends!!"he smiled.

Pragya smiled,"Good night friend"she waved him bye went towards her block.

Abhi stood there until she was gone out of his sight'Yeyy!she is my friend,I'm her friend'he jumped in happiness.He stood there reminiscing their moment together,he smiled sheepishly.

He slowly moved towards his room.He entered inside and the current was gone.Now Abhi wasn't angry anymore but instead he was happy now.

He moved towards his balcony after lighting a candle for himself.

Pragya got a little frustrated as the power was gone,so she groped in the dark for the candle and successfully lighted it.

She saw a small light on opposite balcony,she guessed it was Abhi and smiled.She went to the balcony.

Both their faces glowing in the light of candle light,both were lost in each other for a minute.Suddenly a strong breeze blew their candles off.

They both gasped for a second and quickly lighted the candle and sighed.

They smiled at each other.Abhi took the guitar which became his' in one day and rested in the couch by placing the candle on the floor.

Pragya took her books which she has to prepare for the next day and sat on the couch in her balcony.

Abhi looked at her with a dreamy smile"Why do you have to be this beautiful??I am going mad for you every second"He slightly hit his head with the guitar.

Pragya became busy in her works.On the other side Abhi started to play the guitar,with his overwhelming feelings.

Pragya smiled hearing the music,she turned towards Abhi and smiled with a thumbs up.

Abhi bit his lips by tilting his head with a smile,he continued playing his music by closing his eyes.

Pragya finished her works and was about to go inside when she saw Abhi still playing music,she leaned on to the couch and smiled,she rested her chin on her closed fist,she slowly closed her eyes and sleep overtook her.

Abhi stopped playing music and looked at her direction and saw her sleeping.He admired her by hugging his guitar.

Even in her sleep,he could feel that something is bothering her,but he didn't know what it was,he just want nothing to ruin her peace.

He slowly fell asleep on the couch.

As the both closed their eyes for their deep slumber,a soft wind blew off their candles,giving them a them a peaceful sleep.
