And at last I see the light

Marriage!

It was the day of marriage but the bride wasn't happy.

From morning there were lots and lots of rituals to be followed and she done it all halfheartedly.

She wasn't even ready for this but still she wanted to make her father happy.

Finally the most awaited moment of everyone came.

It was the moment of marriage.As every marriage happens,it also began the same way.

The Groom and Groom's family was welcomed by the Bride's family.

The Groom was looking very happy.Ofcourse he will because he is getting married to his love.

"Abhi!"

He heard someone call him ,he turned behind.

It was Pragya's father "Hello!I am Pragya's father!"he smiled.

Its true Abhi has never met her father,and he was so sure that he would be a little terror but here he is all sweet sweet.

Abhi smiled"Hello uncle!"he was a little nervous.

Pragya's father smiled inwardly knowing his mindset.

"You can sit!"he said pointing towards a chair infront of him and he too settled down.

Abhi smiled and sat down.

"I think you don't know me"Pragya's father said by looking at him with an unending smile.

"Uh....I actually.....Yes I don't know you!"he at last admitted with a shrug.

"So....its not important knowing me!"he leaned forward suddenly with a serious face"You will come to know me!but even I don't know you still..."he looked straight at him"I believe you with my daughter!"

Abhi was taken aback by the seriousness in the air.He looked at him nervously,he looked like he would faint any second.

Abhi looked down,he was puzzled where did that daring Abhi disappeared.

Abhi looked at him with widened eyes while he looked at him with a sudden smile.

"Don't be scared!"Pragya's father waved his hand in front of him"I know you love her"he leaned back on the chair.

"You do??"Abhi asked in shock.

Here one time this old man is being serious and scared him like hell and the next second he is asking him not to be scared.

"Yeah...and I believe you will keep her happy"

Abhi smiled widely,he was slowly getting comfortable.

"I will!"he said with a determination.

"So....Are you ready to get married to my princess??"Pragya's father asked by standing up.

"Always!"Abhi replied with happiness and stood up from the chair.

He never thought this would be easy,he was hell scared about speaking to her father but now knowing that he believe in him,he needs to be more perfect.

Abhi remebered when he asked his mother to ask his mother to ask for Pragya's hand for him.He did said some assuring words to her father.He wanted to make everything easy for her and he did it.The final thing is the surprise which is yet to come.

He wisely stole the photograph of him from her the other day,if she had already saw his photo his plan would have gone in vain.

Surprising his love like this is just...feels nice.

It was the auspicious time and the groom was seated on the mandap waiting for his bride.
