Chp.5

(Nash's POV)

Once the game ended I drove us all home. This time Bridget sat in the back with Hayes, and I sat up in the front all alone. I had moved the trash bags up front since all they had were my clothes, and silently drove away. We arrived home and Hayes jumped right out of the car telling me that he was waking Bridget home.

I walked to the passenger's side and grabbed the bags and hauled them up to my room. I quickly put all my clothes away and decided to FaceTime Cameron. "Hey how did the game go?" he asked. "Well after I stopped texting you Bridget started to talk to me, but other than that nothing happened.

"Geez Nash what has gotten into you? I've never seen you this crazy about a girl" he said. "I'm not crazy. It's just hard to explain" I looked down at my phone and decided that it was time to let Cameron go.

We talked for a few more minutes until he finally hung up. I put my laptop away and reclined on my bed. It may sound crazy, but I was ready to go back to school, If It meant seeing Bridget again.

Monday

"Nash Breakfast is ready" my mom yelled. I quickly put my clothes on and spayed my body with this new cologne I bought. "Coming" I yelled. I raced down the stairs and sat next to Hayes. "Mmm is that new cologne I smell" my mom says. I roll my eyes and nod. Hayes looks over at me and gives me a funky face.

I text Cameron saying that I'll point out Bridget at school. He replies with an ok and I finish up my breakfast. "C'mon Hayes let's go" I say. Hayes quickly finfishes and grabs his backpack and hugs our mom goodbye. "Hey Nash" I hear Jake yell. "Hey, you ready for the quiz today in Geometry" I try to make small talk so I would run into Bridget.

"No, not really I'm so going to bomb it" Jake complains. I look at their house and see Bridget, Hayes, and Luke walking behind us.

I walk quickly towards the bus and climb on. I make sure to sit in front of Bridget and Hayes' regular spot and Jake sits next to me.

Hayes and Bridget take their seat and I can hear Bridget moan as she smells the cologne. "Oh my god what is that smell?" she asks delighted. "I think it's Nash" Hayes says. "You like it?" I ask Bridget. I turn around so I am facing her. "I love it Nash" she exclaims. She leans towards me and grips the collar of my shirt. She smashes her lips against mine and I kneel on my sit so I can grip her waist.

Once my hands meet her waist she breaks the kiss and climbs over the seat to sit on my lap. Our kiss continues as she straddles me and I run my hands up and down her sides. Her hands make their way to my hair and I love the sensation she brings me.

"Nash, Nash" someone says shaking my shoulder. "Huh, yeah?" I ask. "You did you hear what I said" Jake asks. "Uh no sorry" I answer. I realized that I was just daydreaming about Bridget. 'S***' I thought.

I looked around and saw that Bridget and Hayes were already behind us on the bus and talking to each other. 'Damn it' I thought.

Once the bus came to s stop everyone was making their way to the exit. I waited for the front to clear up ahead of me and made my way to the aisle. I saw Bridget walking behind me and walked slower so she could catch up to me and smell my new scent.

I suddenly stopped and turned around making Bridget slam into me. "Oh sorry Bridget" I wasn't sorry at all, but I didn't want her to think of me as a jerk. "It's alright" Bridget said. "Hey is that....Achooo!" Bridget sneezed all over me. "Is that Axe?' she asked. I nodded and she sneezed again.

"That stuff makes me .......Achooo!" she sneezed again. "That's odd how come I didn't smell it on the bus? Achooo!" she asked. I felt so embarrassed that she as allergic to my cologne. "Probably because I was sitting next to you and my cologne is strong" Hayes suggested.

She gave him a question look and all of a sudden sniffed his neck. I could see Hayes' arms get goose bumps as her breath was on his. "Oh yah you have like a vanilla kind of smell. Mmm I like that" she complimented. 'Of course she likes what he smells like' I thought to myself.

Once we entered the school I immediately walked to my lockers where I saw Cam waiting for me. "Hey Nash" Cam said. "Hey"

"So who's the girl?"

I pointed at Bridget and his eyes grazed over her. "You like Bridget?" he asked. "Wow out of all people its Bridget" he was shocked. "Why? You don't think she's cute?" I ask. "Well yah she is definitely adorably cute, but she is younger than you Nash. C'mon go for the older girls" he said.

"You're not helping"

"Well do you want me to talk to her? Talk you up for her. Be your wingman?" he suggested. I shrugged my shoulders and stared at her. Sure she wasn't hot like all the juniors and seniors I've dated before, but she just has this cute style that I can't help but look at.

The bell rang so Cam and I walked to our first period class. "Hey in geometry we're going to have partners for this packet thing. Maybe you two will get picked to be partners" he said. 'Maybe' I thought. At that moment all I wanted to do was go to geometry class.

Everybody was in their desks talking to each other about the assignment. "Alright class settle down. Now I will be choosing your partners. So everyone write your name on a slip of paper and put it in this bucket" everyone groaned and complained since it was going to be a random choosing, but I got all excited.

The bucket was now in the teachers hand and my heart was pounding. I looked over at Cameron across the room and he gave me a thumbs up. "Okay first is Jack and Jack" two guys high-fived each other and went up to receive the packet.

A couple other people were paired up, and finally Bridget's name was called. "Okay Bridget and Cameron" the teacher announced. I looked over at Cameron and he just shrugged his shoulders. They went up together and got their packet.

'You've got to be fricking kidding me'
