3.|I understand. Don't worry.

It was late in the evening around seven fifty.

Y/n dropped billie off at her house without another word, his warm hands once again met billie's waist to help her off.

He couldn't see it, but her face was tear soaked and red.

“thanks.” billie nodded her head and avoided eye contact.

Y/n felt sorrowful, he felt terrible about what he had told billie.

Even if he needed to tell her one way or another.

“your brother...”

Y/n fiddled with billie's hands his eyes glazed over and off to the side.

“I see a girl, the back of her head, her hair is dark, black. Blacker than night”
Y/n continued pushing their connected hands to the back of billie's head next to her temple.

“I feel blunt trauma, right here” he rubbed circles in the spot, his fingers twitching every so often in her hair.

“your brother.. Was murdered”

Billie couldn't believe her ears. It wasn't true.. Was it? She had hoped he did something stupid, like off himself.

Even though that's the worst option to go with for his death she didn't want to believe his murder was out there somewhere.. alive.

“it was a bat. A baseball bat.”

Y/n stuttered. His hand dropping from the spot on billie's head to her shoulder.

“he was still alive when they dumped his body into the lake”

“don't do anything stupid” y/n spoke up, getting back onto his running motorcycle.

“The cops already know he was murdered, if you say anything they'll find suspicious you'll be locked up.” he pushed on his helmet.

Billie nodded her head, she wasn't an idiot, but she still felt she had to do something, had to capture her brothers killers.

“get some sleep, I see this everyday of the week” y/n finally said speeding off down the neighborhood.

His red back lights shining in the dark.

Billie stumbled to the front door of her home.

Her parents waiting in side terrified of her whereabouts.

“where were you!?” her mom yelled, relief flooding her entire body.
