Hardlanding: Kingdom of Secrets

Day One

This academy is weird. Don and I have concluded that, with the notes from Gargon, magic is used to control and brainwash the students and teachers. Don enchanted the gloves we wear with magic that will protect us from the spells.

I'd rather not write this, but it's important. Besides, it's useful to have magic that lets you open pocket dimensions.

We saw Gargon today. Don could not approach him due to the two being close, but I only talked to him once in awhile. I knew it was risky, so I told Don I would approach him. We talked in the garden for awhile. Gargon introduced himself as Tommy. He would mess around with his mask as he talked.

He was just as brainwashed like the other kids, and I assume that's what also happened to Zres. He wanted to introduce me to 'Nick', who had entered the garden, but I ran away while his back was turned. Zres, Nick, dragged Tommy back inside and I left, meeting up with Don.

I told him what had happened, and he agrees we have to be careful. Dawn had explained in the notes that the dorms were separate, girls with girls and boys with boys, but he pulled strings to get a dorm with only Don and I.

The Dean tried to change it, but Don is good at acting, especially when he threw a tantrum with the help of another one of his personalities and his magic. They agreed to let Don and I share a room, and they dispersed the crowd that had formed to their dorms.

At lunch, Don and I were approached by a Werecat. She introduced herself as Ashlie Nine-Five, and her doppelganger Dashlie Nine-Six. Ashlie is a redhead with sky blue eyes. Her car ears are a lighter red, more orange, and they have white tips, her tail following in the same manner. She was wearing a blue sweater with white stars along with a blue skirt and kitten stalkings and black flats. Dashlie is an albino werecat, her entire outfit a red and black version of Ashlie's outfit.

Ashlie seems to take a liking to Don but I have a feeling she doesn't like my closeness with him. I'm pretty sure she has a crush on him.

While I went to advance combat class, one of the only classes I have without Don because he isn't that good at combat, I met a demon. He's a little cute, he had bright orange eyes and owlish glasses. He had black hair with a blue Mohawk and a couple of freckles. He also wore a giraffe-like hoodie and blue trousers. His attitude was a bit sporadic, but he introduced himself as UNi. It appears he has the same disorder as Don as his entire personality changed multiple times during our sparing sessions. He seems to enjoy my company as he asked to be my friend, and even sat in the garden with Don and I after dinner.

This place allows 'sleepovers', and since the dorm Don and I share is the only with both genders, it was allowed for both boys and girls to sleep over. Ashlie showed up with a Newscape boy, his species rare in the area, and the only Newscape I had seen before was Riku, and UNi appeared.

The Newscape boy, Cory, had dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes, his right eye a camera that appeared to be recording until he fell asleep. Don and I can't talk about the mission anywhere. He detected multiple hidden Hearers in the room and in every location in the academy. While everyone slept, we checked the roof of the dormitory, and it seems to be clear.

We'll have to be careful. I saw a shadow disappearing down the hall when we climbed back in, and I suspect it may be the werecat.
