*Alarm annoyingly goes off*
"Ughhhh FIVE MORE MINUTESSS!!", I said, while being half asleep and waking up in by drool but I finally woke up to the realization that it was actually summertime. I was supposed to get a summer job at a cozy-looking cafe around the corner but because of how self-conscious I am, I just couldn't get myself to apply.Plus another thing that sucked about this summer was that all of my friends were on vacation so I couldn't get in touch with any of them. Life has always been boring and I've never even talked to a guy in real life.. but what if I got a dating app,, it's not like anyone from there would actually know me in real life so what's the worst that can happen!
After all of the contemplation, I finally got myself to install the app and start meeting new people(๑>◡<๑) I decided that if guys were going to text me I would have to make a profile picture worthy and intimidating enough so.... I decided to do an ahegao face for it.
Was it the best decision I've made? No. But I got loadsss of people wanting to actually chat with me. I had never in my whole life had this much attention and to be honest I felt almost famous.. until the creeps would text but I just chose to ignore all of those messages! There was one guy in particular that had really kinda just stuck out to me and I had noticed that he started to like all of my posts, follow me, and even shot me a message. I'm not sure why, but I felt different about this person. When I clicked on his profile, his screen name was "Mr. J", and his profile picture was also of himself. He was almost like the most perfect person I had ever seen, mainly because he reminded me of my favorite actor but other then that... I COULDNT BELIEVE A SUCH GOOD-LOOKING PERSON WOULD ACTUALLY WANT TO CHAT WITH ME.
I finally got the courage and went to the chat room and the first thing I noticed was that he wasn't like the other guys. Usually I'd see texts like, "hey" or "Wanna chat", or even perverted texts. But his text instead said, "Hello, please help me, I'm like a broken stick." I thought it was a little weird for someone to talk in that way especially since I didn't know what they needed help with and since I had never spoken with him but nevertheless I was still happy he texted but also felt empathetic that he seemed to feel down. Still wondering why such an immaculate person would text me, I decided to try to text them back.
