Pidge managed her way home safely, occasionally stumbling. While she hated school, she hated being absent even more. Katie opened the door to see her mother sitting on the sofa, watching the television. Her mother turned her head to the door "Katie? Why are you here?" She stood up and walked over to Katie "Apparently I have a small fever and they sent me home. I passed out and Shiro brought me to the nurse who told me to go home." Katie's mother put an arm around her waist and brought her to the sofa. "My dear Katie, do you feel unwell now or not?" She spoke softly as she took a seat beside her "I'm alright for now ma'. I'm going to take a small nap to help. When I wake up would you mind making soup for me? It makes me feel better" Katie stood up and looked at her mother smiling. "Of course dear. Call me if you need anything." "I will do mom. Thank you" The young girl made her way to her room and changed into her pyjamas and climbed into her bed and let the darkness of sleep take over her body. In her dream she was at school, still inside the nurse's office. She looked around and only found Shiro. "Shiro? Is that you?" Shiro turned his head and looked at her "Pidge? Are you okay? I haven't been able to stop thinking of you and if you were safe."  Pidge blushed at this and smiled. "I'm honestly surprised. Since I thought you never acknowledged me and we only talked in science."  Pidge held her arm looking down. "To be honest, I didn't really. It was because I've been so busy. I never had time to admire or talk to you much. Lance speaks of you a lot" Shiro chuckled and walked to Pidge "But I would like to know you better, If you would give me the chance." Pidge looked up at the taller male, blushing like a ripe tomato. "S..Sure. I'd love to know more about you too." The small female stood up and began to walk out. "Wait, Pidge!" She turned around. "When you leave this room, you will wake up. Be careful alright?" Shiro looked concerningly over." Be safe. Alright?" Pidge smiled and nodded as Shiro practically poofed out of existence and Pidge continued on in her dream.

Little did Pidge know as she was resting, her mother was messaging Lance's mother, telling her to invite Lance and Hunk over to comfort her. Of course the two boys were glad to accept and they decide to invite Shiro along to surprise him. On the way there, Shiro began to feel unsure since he didn't know Pidge well, nor her family. Though he did  say those things to her in her head, he didn't know if it was really her or not. It could have been a dream. "Guys, are you sure I should come along? I  mean, she doesn't know me very well and her family know nothing about me" Lance just laughed a little "Don't worry Shiro, Her family are amazing and friendly people. Except if you anger her brother. We heard he can be aggressive if something happens to hurt Katie." Hunk looked ahead and nudged Lance and Shiro. "Speaking of which. Come on let's say hi!" Lance half jogged half sprinted to Matt who was walking in front of them, Hunk and Shiro following behind. "Hey Matt" He spoke casually. "Oh, Hello Lance. I heard you and Hunk were visiting. Hm?" Matt glanced at Shiro with the eyes of an eagle. "Who's this?" "Oh, This is Shiro. He's the captain of our football team. He's also the one that took Pidge to see the nurse." Shiro just smiled and waved a little. "Yeah, someone was about to punch her before I stopped him." Matt nodded in acceptance. "Alright. Thank you for that I guess. We never really had the easiest of lives due to being the smart children in the class. But I know one day, she will achieve something great."  Matt smiled as they found themselves in front of the Holt's home. Matt opened the door and walked in as their mother came and hugged him. "Everyone must remain silent. She is still resting." Suddenly her gaze turned to the tall muscular man. "Who are you?" Lance suddenly jumped in. "Only Takashi Shirogane, Head of our football team and saviour of your lovely daughter." He chuckled as she walked to Takashi. "I am Colleen Holt, Pidge's mother. Her father is absent for now but he will be in later."  She smiled softly as she walked back to the living room and sat down. "Make yourselves comfortable for now. Matt, would you please make some refreshments when you're done?" Matt nodded and went to his room to get changed into his casual clothes and retuned downstairs, where he made tea and coffee for him, his mother and their guests.

Not too long after, about 45 minutes, A door squeaked open as Katie made her way down the stairs and everyone went looked in her direction when she went past the living room. She hadn't cleaned herself up from her sleep and went wide eyed from the people who were looking at her. "Mom...Did you invite these people over?" Colleen nodded and smiled. "Yes, I know how lonely you get when you are ill, so I invited Lance and Hunk over and they came with a friend."  Colleen chuckled  as Katie looked at Shiro and quickly looked away. "Thanks ma'. Can you make that soup now?" Lance and Hunk both gasped and spoke in unison "Is this the famous Mom holt soup?!"  Katie, Matt and Colleen chuckled "Yes, it is. Would you boys like some?" Lance and Hunk nodded as Shiro looked confused. "What's the famous Mom holt soup?" Lance looked over as if someone had slapped him. "Only the best soup in the world! You have to try it. Please!!" Shiro chuckled and nodded "Alright. I guess I'll try it, if it's okay with you Mrs. Holt"  She nodded and began to make it. Katie sighed and lay across  a separate sofa on her stomach. Her head was resting on one of the arms of the sofa and her legs were draped over the other one. Shiro looked at her and smiled softly "You feeling okay?"  Katie just nodded in response to his question making him nod slightly and he leaned back into the sofa. Lance and Hunk began to talk about whatever they did, Katie wasn't paying much attention to them. "Hey Katie-Kat. Wanna play some games?" Her brother offered hoping to make her feel better. "No thanks Matt, I'm not up for games right now. Maybe later" She smiled at her older sibling. "Alright, can you tell me who tried to beat you up?"  Katie automatically sighed "Seriously Matt, It's fine, I don't know who it was, all I really remember was Shiro saving me." Shiro smiled a little as he put his arm behind his neck "It wasn't that much."  "No, don't say that, You helped me when I thought I wouldn't get help."  She chuckled a little before sneezing. The other two looked over and snickered "You sneeze like a kitten Pidge." Lance stated with a smile as the other 3 boys agreed. Eventually her mother came back through and put the pot of soup down. "Soup's ready!"

Everyone cheered and sat up properly to hold out their bowls for the soup. Colleen smiled and then began giving proportions to each individual. "Thanks.." Katie muttered  as she sat back on the couch and began to eat slowly. Shiro, Colleen, Matt, Lance and Hunk dug into their food and ate it at a fairly quick pace. As the front door opened and closed, everyone looked at the door as Katie got up and put down her bowl fairly quickly and walked to the door "Dad!" She hugged Sam Holt and smiled. "Careful Katie, don't pass your allergy to your father" Colleen spoke through the other room. Sam chuckled and hugged her back "How did you get an illness my dear?" The girl just shrugged in response. Shiro was quite shocked but also wasn't too concerned nor confused about it. Sam holt, a famous science who helped a big scientific breakthrough in human technology, along with other scientists. Takashi couldn't believe that he was in the same house as Sam Holt, That's what surprised him.  After some time and talking to the family, Katie decided to go back to sleep, Hopefully so she can go to school the next day. Shiro, Lance and Hunk decide to leave and say goodbye to Pidge and wish her well. Matt, Colleen and Sam wave them bye as they watch them take their leave.

When Shiro was out of view, he still couldn't get his concern for Pidge out of his head and looked toward the general direction of her home longingly "She's fine Shiro. Stop worrying over some girl you met today." He sighed gently and continued to head home. As he walked through the door as quietly as he could, not to alarm his brother. However, when he turned around he saw Keith standing there with his arms crossed and a serious face. "Where were you Shiro?"
