Avalynns POV
I was working my normal shift at work when I saw it was lunch break.I walked out of the store to find the nearest coffee shop.
"What would you like today ma'am?" The man how worked there asked.
"Uh just hot chocolate" I muttered."Is that all for today ma'am?"He looked at me like I was a idiot."Yes that's all" I replied quickly.
I ignored the cashier and just sat somewhere waiting for my order. When I sat down I noticed a guy looking at me.I just got on my phone while waiting for my order.
"Uh hi" I heard an unfamiliar voice near me.I put my phone down to see the man I was staring at.Oh my god why is he talking to me."uh hello" I replied.
"So this is gonna sound stupid but I need to know your age" I was confused that was the reason he came over here but just simply answered."18 why" the guy let out a sigh.
"So my friends dared me to-" I cut him off."You know if your friends dare you to do something you don't have to" I responded in almost a grumpy tone.
There was a awkward silence between us."What was dare" I said breaking it."Well I have to ask someone to try and fall in love with me in one day and like-" I cut him off again."Wait you're kidding right?"I couldn't believe a guy was flirting with me.
"I'm not kidding my friend told me to do this" he answered."Well I'll have to decline because I don't know you" I took my phone out and he pushed it down to look at me."please this town is full of old people" he looked innocent and I felt bad.
"Ok how about this Friday we can meet up early at this same cafe?" I needed to have some time to think."Uh ok want my number?" He answered to my question.
"Pfft are you literally trying to get my number right now?" I couldn't hold in my laughter."What no no it's just so I can contact you when we meet up." His face was red.
"Ok fine but what's your name anyways"
