CH 1

In my world ive been mute since I have been 5. Talking was prohibited and if I end up talking I would endure beating from my father. So leaving home and living by yourself with no one complaining about whatever you do Is great. However the damage already was too much making my voice lose it speaking cord.

But even if I can't speak I can have all my other senses. Standing in front of my new house somewhere in the northern part of Hidari Wakibara I went In and was faced with everything I needed. I took off my shoes and close the door and pull out my phone.

Obaasan

Y.N: Thank you for everything you done. I cannot express my gratitude! I promise I will pay you back some how!

Obaasan: Oh you don't need too and besides have fun! Do the stuff you never done before! That way I know your happy

Y.N: No no! I definitely will pay you back and I promise I will have fun!

Obaasan: I hope you do

After texting I looked at my phone screen for another minute and began looking around the house. Tomorrow I'm going to PK Academy and starting with this point my goal is to

1. Make friends

2. Do well at school

3. Have Fun

Thank to aunt for giving me some cash and money I'm gonna buy some groceries since I dont have any food because I just moved in. Not to mention I didn't really bring anything but my clothes and my shoes. After I left the house and getting groceries I went back home and went to sleep.

Waking up the next day with an annoying alarm I stood up and started walking to the bathroom only to see an hideous monster I began brushing my teeth, facing my face, and getting my hair done. After I finished with that I began putting on my uniform and shoes.

Got my bag and started walking to school. Looking around many people were so pretty and cute! I couldn't help myself since I keep looking them when I should be going to school. Sooner the later I arrived and looked at the big building. Please dont get involve any drama I begged you.

I closed my eyes and began walking Inside and opening it to see everyone looking at me like I weirdo which made me quickly realized how weird I must had looked. After that situation I went to my class and had to introduce myself. I grabbed my pencil and paper and begin writing

"My name is L.N Y.N. I hope we can all get along"

"Woah! Y.N you're mute!?"

"How must it be like?"

"Ugh lucky! I wanna be mute too"

"Me too!"

I couldn't helped but feel uncomfortable. I wanted to throw up over what some of these people said but what could I do? I don't not have a voice to speak my feelings or listen. When my introduction was done I wanted to have some alone time but people started asking me questions on whenever what it's like to be mute or I must be lucky.

I wanted to just tell those people to leave me alone for the time being but I never got the chance until lunch. Sighing I was met with a guy with hot pink and green-tinted glasses and two pink antennas located slightly above each ear.

He looked kinda weird but cute too. Well I'm always like that so its normal. After thinking that he stood up and walked to me, "Can you read my lip?" he asked

I stared at him and nodded my head as a yes. I mean I have ear...

"My name is Saiki Kusou and you?"

I grabbed my note pad and started writing, "Didn't I introduce myself a few hours? Well I don't mind a second introduce! My name is L.N Y.N"

"I didn't get time to see what you wrote so I'm asking you right now. If you don't mind let's be friends"

I can't help it but I was really feeling uncomfortable with the energy we created however it was okay because I feel like he ain't a bad person. I smiled and nodded my head giving him my contact information. Then his friends came into the classroom and told him to go eat some lunch and then looked at me.

His friends had a scar on his left eye and his hair is cut in a weird way however his bangs is yellow while the rest is black. Not to mention he has a mustache and looked kinda scary... Until he started speaking, "Oh! New students! Wanna sit with us! This is our first time Saiki made a friend! Come come!"

Despite his appearance he seem like a idiot... BUT IN A GOOD WAY!? No no what was I thinking... I nodded and Saiki came along. When we enter the lunch room I learned that his name was nendou and that he was a good friends with saiki. I also got to know his other friends named Kaidou and Theruhashi.

They all seemed like nice people and didn't asked me much about being mute or asking what it's like or saying that I'm lucky. I was glad. No, maybe a little overjoyed because I felt like I was friends with them already.

Ring Ring Ring (The Bell)

Lunch was over and it was now officially break time. Saiki and his friends were walking around the school building talking about there life or asking me if I wanted to come along with them like the mall or park which I end up agreeing.

But the whole time we were walking Saiki was the only one asking me questions or making small conversation with me. I'm not sure why but he made it more comfortable being around him and his friends.

"Hey Y.N this is my first time seeing someone like you! If you don't let hang out more often!" Nendou said

I started writing in my notepad and after I was done I showed it too him, "Sure! I would love too"

"Great! Where should we go? Ramen shop?! or...."

"Let go walk around the main town?" Theruhashi said

I nodded and they end up agreeing with Theruhashi. As Saiki and his friends were talking about themselves or about a funny situation they were in and distancing themselves from us Saiki and me kept in place. Of course saiki made some small talk here and there but even when we were not having a conversation it felt nice.

It was relaxing and comforting for some reason. As if I met him somewhere before. Soon break was over and class started. As time went by school was over. I grabbed my stuff and then saiki walked to me, "Let's go home together"

....

Huh? I panicked and grabbed my notepad, "Why!?"

"Don't tell me you forgot me?"

I looked at him again and shake my head as for a no thus making Saiki sigh heavily

"It's me your childhood friends in 1st grade. I can't believe you forgot me"

Trying to recall my memories I start remembering a small kid talking to me.

"That.. that was you? I mean of course I forgot you! I mean that was in 1st grade I can't believe you remember that..." I wrote and showed him my notepad

"Ah did you also forget the time when you wanted to married me?"

EH!? I SAID THAT!?

"No I was just joking. Let's go home now"

I quickly nodded my head and followed him. The whole time the walk was so silent but then again it was somewhat comforting. Then we arrived at my house and before saiki left I grabbed a small piece of his clothes and he looked at me. I pulled up my notepad and showed him my message, "I'm sorry I don't remember you but! It was really nice to talk with you and walk with you! So... Let's me friends!"

After showing him that message he pointed at a house across mine and smiled, "My house is right there so if you like we can keep walking together. And also I thought we were friends already. Don't tell me you never thought of me that way"

I panicked and nodded my head. Then quickly went Inside my house leaving saiki outside. Maybe this year won't be as bad...
