A boring day going by, so you decided to go to the bookstore, in search of new material to read, since you've already read all of your books over 10 times. They got boring after a while, so you wanted something more......interesting.

For some odd reason, you've recently been drawn towards learning about spirits and paranormal things. With that in mind, you decide to take a peek at the paranormal section. There was quite a big selection, so you skimmed through the titles of the books and read the back of a handful of them.

The store was about to close since it was getting late, and you still haven't chosen a book yet. You eventually fell asleep while reading an old(er) book about different demons. Little did you realize, a certain silhouette of a male had been watching as you read, grinning when he realized you were out cold.

Waking up, you discovered the room had become quite shady. You realized that this place wasn't our room, instead, you were sitting in a section of the bookstore still. Setting down the open book you had been reading, you checked your phone, pinching the bridge of your nose, you sighed when realizing phone battery was dead, which meant you couldn't ask for anyone to come to pick you up.
Squinting, you noticed a box that was sitting neatly on a table. The box looked like one similar to the board game ones, so you got up and went over to it. The only light source was from a street light flickering in the parking lot, making it difficult to see, so you traced over the letters on the box as your eyes widened.

An Ouija board? What the f-

You shook your head, trying to resist the temptation. You thought of your mother's words as she forbade you from ever using one, and the last thing you needed was to have a demon or spirit attach themselves to you. But you never used one, and there was something inside of you telling you to mess with it. Even though you knew what capabilities it had, you still wanted to try it. And it's not like a demon could come out, right?

Biting your lower lip, you tried to hold back the temptation, but something as simple as that wouldn't keep it back for long.
Beginning to look elsewhere, your eyes still managed to find their way back to the box. Your hands took their own actions and kept the box in your grasp. It was almost like it was calling you, luring you into its trap.

Glancing around, there was no other sign of life except your own. The room was quiet, so much so to the only thing you could hear were your unsteady breaths. Hands trembling in excitement and fear, you opened the box. Everything was neatly placed inside, the only thing you had to do was take the board out of the box, place the planchette on it, and prepare your soul (literally).

Trying to remain calm as you placed your hand on the planchette, the piece instantly moved to the letter P. This startled you, since you knew you're no longer alone. It moved again slowly to the letter A. Again to R, then K.

"Park?...." You asked out loud, as the piece then moved to J.

Well at least it's not Zozo.

After the spelling was finished, you tried to pronounce the name, "Park Jimin?"
The planchette then moved quickly over to "yes", which made you surprised.

Do not ask if it's a demon, otherwise, you're dead.

"Is that your name?" You asked, watching the piece move to yes once more.

"Are you a male then?"

Wait. Bad ide-

The piece moved to yes again.

The silence in the room began growing tense and a bit more intimidating than before. Almost as if.....
You were being watched.
From what, you couldn't tell, but the gaze certainly didn't feel like that of a human.
Its name probably being Park Jimin.

Goosebumps emerged on your skin as the temperature in the room dropped drastically. You tensed at a feeling of a hand on your shoulder as if someone was hovering above you. You were too scared to turn around, so you kept your gaze on the board.

"Please be Jimin..." You whispered under your breath, hoping that the hand did, in fact, belong to him.
Keeping your gaze on the board still, another hand was gently placed on top of yours as the planchette moved to yes a final time. Sighing in relief, you smiled a bit since you now know you're not alone, but you still remained frozen because you were fully aware that there was a spirit behind you and holding your hand.

Wait no, my mistake, I meant a demon.
