It was a new school year and a new school. Which means I had to make new friends. School starts tomorrow, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit nervous.

This school is for helping students learn in areas they'd wish to work when they graduate. For example, they have a health medical tech area. That area helps students learn everything a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) needs to know, and they will graduate certified, if they pass the final exam in their senior year. There's other areas, too, like culinary arts, graphic design, marketing, and welding, etc.  There's many of schools like this one, throughout the states.

I texted my friend to tell her to save me a seat since we'll be on the same bus. There's no way I'm going to sit with someone I don't know on the first day. Speaking of not knowing people, I should probably introduce myself.

Hi. I'm Meadow, Meadow Winters. I'm 16, a sophomore, and I'm in the health medical technical area. Yeah, I know I'm a year too old to be a sophomore...I'm back a year from moving, that's all.

Maybe I'm falling in love. But...maybe it isn't love. I think I love him, but he sends so many mixed signal so frequently...I don't feel like I'm getting anything I should out of talking to him. Maybe I should be spend my time with someone who shows they care more than he does. He says he cares a lot, but just doesn't show it consistently, or much at all. I'm at such a dilemma.
