Nightmares

Sorry if the picture is hard to see. If you can't see it, it's Vision embracing Wanda. It also says "It's alright. You could never hurt me." I hold back tears EVERY TIME I watch that scene when she has to kill him. That shattered look in her eyes gets me every time. Oops, this is longer than I expected. Enjoy the oneshot. 😁

Wanda's POV

The bomb exploded. Pietro shoved Wanda under the bed as shells rained down on Sokovia.
Pietro collapsed to the ground, his body riddled with bullet holes.
"I love you," Vision said, and he exploded.
Thanos turned back time, throttled Vision, and tore the stone from his head.
Ultron grabbed Wanda by the wrists, draining her until she was but an empty shell.
I thrash against Ultron as those I love die around me, and I hear Vision screaming my name. There is a bloodcurdling scream, and I wake with a start, realizing I had screamed. Vision was the one holding me, and before I knew it I was sobbing my heart out into his shoulder. "Shhh, it's okay," he said. "Tell me what you saw."
"My parents dying. Pietro dying. You dying. The people I love, dying around me as Ultron sucks the life out of me, leaving an empty shell he can bend to his will."

Vision's POV

I hold her. I can tell she is upset, I can tell people are listening at the door. So I just hold her. She sees her world crumble around her every night.
"I love you, Wanda Maximoff," I say.
"Say it to the universe, I dare you."
I whisper in her ear, "I love you, Wanda Maximoff."
She laughs. "I told you to say it to the universe."
"I just did." She still looks confused, so I say it to her.
"You are my universe."
She smiles. "And you are mine."

(A/N Yeah yeah, I know this one is short, but it's a cute one. Also I will probably use the "You are my universe" line in like every ScarletVision story (story, not oneshot) that I do 🤪)
